Post Remix, Karan Wahi maintained a low profile. The actor stayed away from any television shows and only did a couple of commercials. His wait seems to have paid off, as there's buzz that Wahi has signed up a UTV film. Confirming this, he says, "Yes, I am in talks for a project, but I can't reveal anything more."

It is believed that Karan is playing a character his age — a college guy who goes through various ups and downs in his life. Mostly comprising newcomers, the film is scheduled to go on the floors in the coming year.
