Looks like launching music albums is the latest trend to hit the television industry. After launching an album of songs that made the celebrity couples groove to its tunes in Nach Baliye, Star One is ready to bring out another album.

Titled Remix, this album will have original sound tracks from the channel's youth show of the same name. Sung by pop band Aasma and Bappi Lahiri, the songs are composed by a host of people.

The album will be launched on Thursday at Planet M. It seems that the channel is seriously into promoting its (visual) shows through (audio) albums.

The music will be released on Times Music.
