Raj Singh Arora on losing out to Rakhi

Raj Singh Arora is an angry man. The actor turned down three shows and two movie roles to prepare for the reality showPati Patni Aur Woh, but lost out on that show as well as he and his girlfriend Swati Taldar were replaced by Rakhi Sawant and her fianc Elesh Parujanwala.

Raj, last seen inKoi Aane Ko Hai Mrutyudand,says, "We signed a contract with the production house, which mentioned that they could drop us from the show at any time. But we have been busy preparing for the show for the past two months. They asked us to keep our dates free, and I refused to be part of three shows and even two films for this."

The couple was not informed about their unceremonious exit. "I agree that Rakhi Sawant is a bigger star than us, but they should have at least told us that they have selected her and not us," says Raj. "We were committed to this show and they are answerable to us. We went to the BBC productions office, but they told us that it was the channel's decision. This is morally wrong, I want an explanation from them. I have worked with many production houses but such a thing has never happened with me."

The irony is that Raj had initially refused to be a part of the show. "But, they somehow convinced me that it was unlike other reality shows and would have no controversies, so I agreed," he adds. "In fact, we were not ready to talk about our relationship but decided to do the show because it was different."

Raj is now looking for more work since he has missed out on other shows and money in the meantime. He says that Swati too lost out on some projects. He adds, "This matter should be taken up by the media, so that channels and production houses ensure that things like these don't happen in the future."

i am so glad tht raj clearified this thing.....i am so happy to know he initially wasnt ready for the show coz he knows wat reality shows r all about! n now i am seriously mad at these guys....i mean someone whos not ready u go n convince him n then behave in such an unproffesional manner! so not done......the only thing im feeling sad abt is tht just like raj we too have missed out on watching him in some good projects n may b films😭 bt no worries raj.....talent like urs will make up for all the losses! cheer up raj we are all there for u🤗 n consider it as a blessing in disguise......u were so not the " pati patni aur woh" person!
