I remember when I was studying the French Revolution & Napoleonic Empire, all the facts were sort of against him being a good person and all but in my heart, i regarded him as a hero. My history teacher who had a PHD in history also felt the same way as me even though the facts interpreted that Napoleon was an opportunist and was only in it for his own good not for the revolution and the french people.

Similarly, Stalin is pictured as the "complete bad guy" in books but I kinda liked him and Idk why. 😆😆
