I have gotten enough comics, and books on Razia Sultan she is one of my favourite historical heroines. sadly enough the show hasn't done justice to her braveura, it's really sad, i believe the doordarshan series that telecasted the historical heroes back then were far much better. i was like 5 then but later my father showed those recordings and razia's life was beautifully depicted in that. total to the point and no nonsense like these dramas,
even the film starring hema malini was a let down, romance b/w her and yaqut what were the makers thinking. also Pankhuri Awasthi isn't perfect to play razia somehow she carries the typical indian TV woman's vibes and should be suitably suited for such things. also the plot twists, razia showing robinhood, this and that illogical focus on shah turkan, disappointed me big time,
if this series was supposed to be a mini one, then its evne more disappointing that they haven't stuck to the story at all... AND RAZIA'S story began when she became the sultan, it didn't end with it, she had to face a lot of problems as her subjects were sexiest towards her, she waged a lot of battles and won too and later how she was betrayed and killed with altunia, damn i still have the comics...true razia lovers should read those from amar chitra katha it's far valuable than this boring drama seriously.
