Bijay Anand, Yukti Kapoor and Bhargavi Chimule in Siya Ke Ram

Star Plus' Siya Ke Ram has been making news for almost a year now. The makers are leaving no stones unturned to make a magnificent mark in the history of television.

The venture produced by Triangle Films, is been currently shot in the opulent set in Ramoji Film City, Hydrabad.

Tellychakkar.com was the first to report about Ashish Sharma and newbie Madirakshi Mundle playing the leads as Ram and Sita.

Another big names roped in are Dalip Tahil as King Dashratha, Simone Singh as Kaikeyi, Karan Suchak as Lakshman and Kannada star Karthik Jayaram as Raavan.

Now we have few more names that have been roped in for this ambitious project.

They are Bollywood actors Bijay Anand, Yukti Kapoor and popular Marathi actress Bhargavi Chimule.

Bijay and Bhargavi will play Sita's parents King Janak and Queen Sunaina. As for Yukti, she will be seen as Sita's sister Urmila.

We could not connect to the actors for a confirmation.

Siya Ke Ram is slated to launch by end of this year.

Kannada star Karthik Jayaram to play Raavan in Star Plus' new show: Following our report about Simone Singh and Karan Suchak playing Kaikeyi and Lakshman respectively, there's yet another update on the cast of Star Plus' ambitious project 'Siya Ke Ram'. Actor Karthik Jayaram, a popular actor from Karnataka, has been finalised to play the coveted role of Raavan. Yes, the guy with Ram's name in his surname will play the warrior king's arch-nemesis. Also known as J. Karthik and JK, he has acted in several Kannada movies, namely Kempe Gowda, Just Love, Chandrika and will be seen as the male lead in Kuchikoo Kuchikoo. Jayaram has also featured in the TV show Ashwini Nakshtra, which aired on Colors Kannada. However despite repeated attempts, we couldn't reach the actor for a comment.

Fresh faces, Tanvi Madhyan and Prithvi Hatte roped in for Siya Ke Ram

Tanvi and Prithvi will essay the role of Sita's sisters

The media already reported about Bijay Anand, Yukti Kapoor and Bhargavi Chimule being a part of Stra Plus' upcoming mythological show Siya Ke Ram where Ashish Sharma and Mrunal Thakur will essay the protagonists - Ram and Sita.

Now, joining the cast of the show are two fresh faces, Tanvi Madhyan and Prithvi Hatte who have done a few short films.

Our credible source informs us, "The production house is keen on casting fresh faces on this show. Tanvi and Prithvi both seemed perfect for the role of Sita's sisters. Tanvi will be seen as Shrutkriti and Prithvi will essay the role of Mandvi on the show."
