The problem was RR was hyped too much. So much that it had a theatrical trailor in cinema houses. Obviously colors expected great TRPS. A lot of money was in RR.Which show is not hyped. Every channel want to make its show a success and does all possible things for that. I am a witness of this when I went to see gundey in theatres I saw the promo of BI then RR. At Metro stations there were posters of both serial.Just one thing RR got extra was a dance performance in BB but there also BI lead pair was present.
And I don't blame ST really. For him RR was also business and he had to pay hundreds of employees. And if it failed to generate revenue, the channel will pressurize. The channel might not have pressurized him at the beginning it was he who felt the pressure
ST succumbed to the pressure. And in a panic he did lots and lots of stupid mistakes. I just feel sorry for him and nothing else.I dont feel for him cuz this is not the first and only time he did this Do dil ek jaan also was butchered in similar way
Yes it did cost us our RR. But when we look at things from his point of view, we will not be angry at him but will just pity him.
If I am angry at anybody its COLORS. They should have backed him in this phase. The guy had already given them a superhit show. Agree that they need viewership but butchering a serial so prematurely was not expected of them. They should have given it some time. All the channels are after numbers colors not the only one. There have been serials in z tv which have gone off air in 4 months etc...sony has done this...
What politics did exactly played out behind the scenes we don't know. In addition to TRP factor, the PH split and maybe some tiff with colors ended our beloved show. We can know how unhappy the things were from ST's father's tweets.
Nobody will blame anybody. This is after all a business for them. Colors is a big channel and ST is also a big producer. SO he is right now singing a different tune. Thats the way the PR work. Maybe in future things will sort out between them.Agree all this is business and we lost our Parud in this politics
I am grateful to ST for giving us Parud and the best jodi ever Sanish. Parud are still alive in us and will always be remembered as the magical couple.Even I am thankful he gave me Parud whom I can never forget
The only regret remains is not knowing the original story and the impossibility of watching Sanish ever again together.Even wanted to know see sanish onscreen for a longer time ... sigh
