His world revolved around Gunjan, and hers around his ... their story had been developed so beautifully that they were perfect for each other, and one could never imagine either with anyone else. Gunjan-Mayank would have been a compromise for both Gunjan and Mayank, and it would have killed Samrat.

I loved Gunjan's character development in the show ... she was the weak timid shy girl at the start ... and she was the strongest character in the show by the time it ended.

Don't say you don't want an unwed mother story, Anisha ... from reports, that's what Gul's new show is about 😆

totally agree Diya! The way they developed SAJan's love story, it would have been very difficult, almost possible to accept Mayank-Gunjan. It would have been a compromise for both. But it is not too far fetched. Both are grieving their loss and are alone ( the makers conveniently forgot Mayank's mom and Gunjan's buaji/bui in S2). Moreover, Gunjan is shown as unforgiving of Samrat this time. It is weird, but I have seen it happen in real life a couple of times. and remember Hum Aapke hain kaun?
And Diya what I meant by not liking the unwed mom track is it would be sick if they do the typical 70s-80s style of bin-Byahi-maa. 😆I am all for it if they handle it more maturely and realistically like in the movie Paa.

And Myrud scenes were similar to Parud's only for the fans it was meant to be "consolation".

This is what RS said to me.

I too would love to watch a show on the line of movie paa, but not a kid with progeria, please ...cant see kid dying.
.. But seeing how in Indian shows kids are treated worst than some toys, i would not be surprised if they make a show with the only purpose of showcasing the disease, and handling it in the worst possible way

I for one didn't hold any hopes after listening to Sanaya's interviews at the time. She doesn't lie like the others n she pretty much gave the answer saying she doesn't like what is happening but its not in her control as she is just acting what she is asked to.. that is why i just stopped watching rather than putting myself through the misery of them slandering the memory of Paro whom I loved so much.. at least i have never had the misfortune to watch her being belittled n replaced.. cz i honestly cared for her.. though the makers certainly didn't.. none of the people except Sanaya herself from the people involved did from the looks of it..

@Bold - 😆 😆

Anyway I stopped watching RR too except a few snippets of Myrah, I swore I would never watch Paro's death episode. I had stopped watching all the wonderful VMs, collages posted here by our Forumwasis, but then one day I don't know what got into me I clicked into a VM, and the first scene of that VM was Paro's death scene .. Oh Boy ...
I am still reeling from it 💔 🥺

Very very true.. while i was reading halfway in ur post I felt my heart constrict when I realized that is exactly the case with RR..and seconds later I read ur same thoughts on it..

I agree a sad ending would prick our hearts forever... cz honestly no matter how many times I repeat watch the happier earlier bits.. i cannot for more than a fraction of a moment forget that tragic ending.. that my Paro is not there.. and she was forgotten.. the life she should have had was snatched from her.. her baby.. her husband.. her sister.. her happy family.. her dreams.. everything stolen from her.. n I end up teary eyed.. n I honestly become bitter towards what happened..grief tends to do that to a person..

because of that very reason - considering I was one of those who were ready to watch an IPK with only Khushi and wanted it to continue, I now staunchly hold on to the opposite view.. that I am so relieved that it didn't give me that grief Rangrasiya gave me..
I might not get to see Arnav and Khushi every day.. but in my heart I will always know that they are out there fighting, laughing, teasing each other, loving and making babies and living their whole lives together.. its just that I don't get to see it..its ok..because they are together, with each other..

and despite having a happy ending IPK is eternal in the hearts of a fandom across the globe.. and when a show can give a happy ending and still be evergreen.. I honestly don't want a tragic ending...

I love reading stories with tragic endings.. but RR showed me I cannot take it when Sanaya is involved with that tragic ending...because when Sanaya plays a certain character I become too emotionally involved and I don't ever want to feel what I felt and still feel when I think of our Paro.. and all the what ifs, and could have beens and would have beens are utterly useless.. cz that void would never ever be filled..

so nope.. never again.. i don't want to see a tragic ending to one of her shows n though I always wish IPK continued, rather than ending when it did, I am glad it ended this way, with my ArShi together and happy.. a peaceful ending.. i would long to see more.. but still have that peace that they are happy..

This post in the previous thread is beautiful, its very heartfelt and poignant, esp what you wrote about Arshi ❤️
Also NavyaKavya30's post about Paro and tragic endings...

I believe it was Ashish who said , 'kamaal ka twist!' But there is no need to call others liars! Even Sanaya accepted and moved on with Myrah!! Cause actors have no choice!! Even Ashish didn't like it either but of course they follow what the makers have chosen to do! 🤓

But that's the whole problem ... the TV industry has become just too TRP driven in recent years ... and the really bugging thing is that TRPs are not even representative of the actual viewing audience ... I can't imagine that the Indian audience is happy watching naagins and reincarnation and memory loss in every serial ... but those wretched 8000 houses with TRP meters seem to be totally brain dead ... so that's what we get. 🤢

@Bold - That's terrible 😕
That's why I think finite series - no more than 6 months, may be a year in some cases - is the only way to go...
If you only want to do quality work like Sanaya does, then finite series are better 😊

it was RS who said it to us on FB and he happens to be a writer! n i don't care even if writers themselves didn't have control and it was the channel who forced this on them, but whatever it is after doing it also they lied without caring a damn for our feelings.. ST, Colors and writers.. giving false hopes to the fans! 🥱 as for the rest if the shoe fits, so be it!

And for ur kind information I was referring to this interview - if people didn't have a problem then I don't care what they have now cz I didn't take names in my earlier post.. just posted my own opinion on a lie that gave false hope.. NO ONE except Sanaya spoke against it.. not at that time, not when it was happening and we were grieving and trying to cling to hope against all odds.. and that was what I was talking about.

Sanaya takes a stand for us and says NO MAYRUD!Proud of u!!

And who talked abt acceptance of actors being an issue here? I also said as an actress she has no choice n she is just doing her job in acting what she is given, but she did what she could and told us in an interview off screen she didn't like it or agree with it or even wanted it.. and that certainly was about where I decided to call it quits..
