Apparently Robert Downey Jr.'s team has got in touch with the makers of Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! to enquire about the Indian detective.


Robert Downey Jr. has played Sherlock Holmes in the American film series which is one of the biggest detective franchises. Time and again, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! is getting pitted against Sherlock Holmes and when Robert heard about this Indian detective, it piqued his interest.

Sadly, very few 😕 Jhansi Ki Rani is the most iconic, but there has already been a TV show on her. The only female detective of renown that I remember offhand is Miss Marple ... and Sanaya cannot play her ... not unless they bring down her age by a few decades 😆

Sarojini Naidu is another iconic character ... but not TV show material, I don't think.

Not really! I'm sure if she does do them, they will be happy! And I think Sanaya is interested if she gets good roles and good banner!! Since Sanaya is still waiting for something good, she can still look into movies too! Why not?! She's still young and highly talented!
