Exactly. At least in these shows , he held their hands(they were his characters' wives). Have you watched Dastan? It's based during the Partition. Sanam Baloch plays his fiance, and they get separated, then she is forcibly married to a Sikh. In the pre-engagement sequence, they don't even look at each other sometimes, yet the romanticism was out of the roof. You don't need hugs/kisses/long eye locks. It's there in the dialogues, the acting and the background music.

I have cried my eyes out while reading his books, esp. this one. It was so so sad. BTW, has anyone read And the Mountains Echoed? That would be a beautiful series. A little bit like Band of Brothers, because each chapter is about a diff character. And it all comes together at the very end.

any rumor about Rangrasiya 2?

i think this Ashoka show will replace uttaran coz showing promo for 3 months is hardly possible

Yes just a few weeks back😃That show was outstanding. The only Paki show I could sit through 😆

The romantic scenes were the best but somehow it became quite weird in the end. He actually falls in love with Rabiaromances her and even gets engaged and when Bano came back he wanted Rabia to leave because 'Maine apni zindagi Bano ke naam likh di' lol. Poor girl.

You like daastaan's title track? I begged and begged Sonya, Sunara and Diya di to use that song for Sanaya's birthday thread😆

I hope they remake dastan in here and Sanaya is he only actress who can play Bano to perfection. Bano is a mix of Khushi and Paro IMO. Khushi's pagalpan and Paro's innocence. I don't think she's good looking though. Even my sisters say that.The bhabi was better. Suraiyya khala.

Do you remember how Suraiyya died?🥺

Same here. Especially while reading the last letter to Mariam by her father

@B-I did but it took me a month to finish. (and 4 hours to finish A 1000 splendid suns). Mountains echoed was really good in the beginning and in the end but it became very dry in the middle. The only reason I didn't stop halfway was Hosseini's writing! This man should write more and more before he retires! ⭐️
