Maybe channel was playing a game all along - seeing how much flak they got for DD win last year - channel purposely underscored Ashish everytime, so they wouldn't be accused of favoritism to their own boy, and then made sure he won at the end
I am not saying he didn't deserve to win - but even now channel hasn't said trained dancers cannot win - yet that's what people in JDJ forum are saying. Otherwise what are we saying here - a non-dancer has become better than a trained dancer ?
Okay, please don't bash me - I am just blowing air.
JDJ isn't about talent alone . It's about talent AND popularity. How popular an actor is can take them far into the game. Like take Karan, he wasn't doing well initially. A lesser popular actor might have gotten knocked out. But because he is extremely popular, he was able to stick around till he improved and even made it to the final. If talent was the only measuring stick, there is NO way that Mouni and Shakti wouldn't do as well as KT and AS, cos they're both trained dancers. But because they're not as popular, they didn't fare as well.
Ashish and Drashti both won because of their enthusiastic fans, not because they were on Colors. Also, both showed great improvement during their respective seasons and grew as dancers. They both deserved to win.
