Diya, Minnu, Tennessean and Shweta - Today's Take Creatives - Thank you for giving us such fabulous, takes, details, acrostics, collages and quotes. One more tomorrow, but not going to say good bye, let's just say sayonara - till me meet again!! 🤗
It was a melancholy episode no doubt, but it was a gentle breeze, all family together preparing for an impromptu quickie wedding!!!
"Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself."
--- Robert Frost
Very apt words by Robert Frost.
Today we have two men...fictitious in this story but exist in real life and I am going relate them to Paro and Myrah.
- Rohit Party Boy from New York - His change from not believing in love to sudden "I Love You Myrah" - pathetic. His sudden plan for a quickie wedding without telling Myrah - not acceptable. I can list more, but won't. His whole demeanor, behavior etc. clearly states that the man is not "honorable" nor is he a "gentleman". He is very manipulative with Myrah, is defining her life and herself...and she is not able to fight him back. Men like him exist...have met them in New York. Stay away from them and say NO. Even if he is playing cupid by chance...his method is not acceptable.
- Rudra on the other hand is a "gentleman". He never tried to change Paro. She defined herself and her own life. She was feisty in her own way. In the early day he was different, but he was always honorable towards her. In his letter to Myrah he reiterated that she should stay the way she is and not change for anyone. He has told her and let it be known to Party Boy that he loves her, he does not hide from from being who he is. Men like Rudra do exist, find them and say YES.
- Myrah is a woman torn between her heart and her mind. A woman with "no baggage" who on one hand has a "friend" who is demanding she keep her promise to him and another who has finally declared to her what she herself feels for him. Tough, but today she has to define who she is for herself.
Wasn't planning on writing what I did above but that phrase from Robert Frost came to my mind while watching the scene where Rohit grabbed Myrah's arms.
- Corridor when Rudra tells Myrah that he won't be around to take care of her - so touching.
- The reflection of the chandelier dropping in the photo of Paro and Maithili...ghostly nudge...and Myrah's run to pull Rudra out of harm's way and her hug - what the heart wants...it wants.
- Loved the scenes in Rudra's bedroom - the Dhruv Myrah moments very touching. When Rudra enters to leave the letter and gift, he sits besides Myrah and that "lone tear". Rudra's whole family in one room. 😭 This was a very poignant moment for me...Dhruv sleeping in Myrah's arms in that bed...his bed.
- The bed - Rustic distressed painted bed...I am going to miss this bed. I will have to look for one and redo one of the guest rooms in my home. 😃
- Haldi prep - How beautiful did Myrah look.
Sanaya is a stunning woman...not a typical beauty, but this woman has her own elegant beauty...none like her.
- The letter and the gift - Sweet letter and I hope we get to see the gift...small box...hmm...a butterfly something. 😊
Precap..."I love you Rudra." ❤️
Shweta, Your collages are spellbinding. They exude emotions that fleet by in the scenes, but in you collages they are captured to stay!!
For Paro/Myrah and Rudra...
"My love has made me selfish.
I cannot exist without you; I am forgetful of everything but seeing you again.
My Life seems to stop there; I see no further. You have absorb'd me.
I have a sensation at the present moment as though I was dissolving.
I should be exquisitely miserable without the hope of soon seeing you.
I have been astonished that Men could die Martyrs for religion.
I have shudder'd at it; I shudder no more; I could be martyr'd for my Religion.
Love is my religion; I could die for that; I could die for you."
John Keats
From Celine Dione's song ...My Heart Will Go On (Titanic)
Love can touch us one time
And last for a lifetime
And never let go till we're gone...
Ooops...too long 😲
