I seriously don't understand why these people can't take criticism. If they don't want to interact with fans then why do they make social networking accounts. I watch western shows and trust me they get much more 'bashing' then these guys do but yet they are always civil and are ready to accept their mistakes.

We didn't expect anything absurd, only a Parud ending. Bas
. Which was what we were promised at the start. We didn't ask for anything special but apparently in real life that doesn't happen. I think they conveniently forgot that they're writing fiction not fact. According to them in real life, men fall in love with the dead wife's Lookalike, who is engaged to be married. I don't know about anyone else but I've never seen that happen in my entire existence on this planet.

Rudra's character is completely butchered. According to the SBS segment Paro will tell him to move on and that he loves Myrah, is just sickening! !!

Hi,
Your post is so in agreement with my sentiments that I had to post a comment. Sadly, I stopped watching the show after Paro had her baby. It was too painful to even watch her die and leave behind a little baby and grieving husband behind! However, I kind of hung around, sort of hovering around the IF like a "bhatakti aatma" to just keep up with what's happening with the show😆

I have to agree with every single thing that you have mentioned in this post! Even when I tried to watch a couple of epsiodes post Paro, it just didnt click with me. Myrah just doesnt work with Rudra, the chemistry is missing and everything looks so forced.

What was initially sold as the intense and passionate love story between Paro and Rudra with promises of a love so unique---that it was epic. It was not just between two mortals but resonant of love and devotion between Gods- Shiv and Parvati. How many times was that mythological parallel shoved down the viewer's throat----the symbolism in the early episodes oozing out the wazoo?

Paro was the one who stood in the rain, on one leg to win his love. She changed the "jallad" to an "insaan". He promised her "Hamesha, main aur tu" and everything was portrayed to be the story about Paro and Rudra---soulamtes who were incomplete without one another. If anyone has any doubts, listen to the title track which was played at every opportunity!

The initial promising premise of the show was about a patriotic Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat and his desert rose, Paro and now it is about a Bodyguard protecting a look-alike. Just like some have been cribbing, crying and making posts about the butchering of a wonderful show, I too feel cheated as to the purpose of selling the show as this remarkable love story between Paro and Rudra----only to have it yanked cruelly and instead replace it with a doppelganger of Paro.

The producers/writers of the show were really conniving in sense that they knew and definitely banked on the idea that the loyal viewers and fans of Sanaya and Ashish (who are amazing actors in my opinion) will cry and bemoan at the tragedy but in the end will tune in and watch the show for their favorite actors/couple and they did. Hoping Paro=Myrah, loyal fans have stuck around only to find out that they were betrayed once again!

So what if Paro is dead? As long as they can bring her back in a new look and she will fall in love with Rudra and of course, they do look so good together, people will watch. At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter what the viewers want or think----it was never about us anyway. Oh, let me not even start on the matter of Myrah and Rudra. It gives me heebie-jeebies thinking of the rotten idea of having a person falling for you just because you remind them of their beloved, departed spouse😕

I am not into the reincarnation stories either but seriously, I would have rather had them both had died and come back as new people and fall in love once again! That story I could have bought more than Rudra with a child going for US return-coffee drinking-english speaking-short dresses wearing-Paro-look-alike!

This is in no way criticism of the actors (Ashish and Sanaya) as I think they are exceptional actors). In fact, it is their acting and chemistry that has kept fans hooked to the show or else, they would have quit long time ago and I think that is something the makers of the show know quite well and they have used it to shove new contrived story line, selling it as RR to the viewers.

Enough of my ranting on your thread. Hope you dont mind my crazy response to ur post!

Love,

Sonia

Rudra is a joke right now

Possessive about Myrah
Jealous of Myrah and Rohit relationship
Dreaming about Myrah ( he never dream about Paro, is this fair?)
Forcing himself on Myrah by dancing with her in a drunken state
Fighting his attraction for Myrah
Now allowing Rohit to take his own fianc out

Rudra make no sense for me.

lol didn't watch today, have not watched for the past 2 weeks.. and will not watch for the next 2 weeks!!

So I am actually kinda protected from this crap.. i have not seen a single moment of cheap Rudra 2.0 betraying both Rudra 1.0 and his Paro!
Well I have been fricking mad even reading stuff here. but at least didn't have the misfortune to witness first hand how they destroy PaRud and insult and belittle Paro..

PS: As always loved what u ranted lol.. a long habit from a forum we long ago used to inhabit.. and ditto on everything!!
Good to see u back! 🤗

I also had hope and faith because since the show was anyway going off air, I figured the CVs wouldn't be so heartless to not end it with Paro and Rudra because after all it's their baby too. Boy were we proven wrong! They literally don't care about their 'baby' that they spent 1-2 years waiting to do, their "creative" integrity, professionalism and reputation, and especially us fans. This is why Indian TV is considered a joke. If CVs don't take their 'babies' seriously, how on earth can we think they'd even remotely consider us? RS just showed us their collective true colors. They disgust me.

Dear Fls..

Cant agree more to ur post. The cv's hv ruined Rudra royally. I cant believe what they r showing... this man was the one swearing and crying for Paro and Myrah fell in love with him seeing how passionately he loved his wife..what the hell is this ? nd now he is in lov with her... i wonder what is he going to say to her. I lov u Myrah..God this is even sounding so yuck!. nd Myrah .. wil her foundation of love shake if Rudra has let go of Paro!!! this has becone beyond my capabiliy to endure. Your line where u said that Myrah gets to hear the 3 golden words have hit me bcoz it has just washed away all that Paro did for him. Myrahs character has been given so much power. v recently we saw sbs footage in whch probably Paro visist him askng him to move on... what is the need of showing it bcoz he has already. it pains me to see that now Paro is not hos soulmate as Myrah is the one. it is v heart breaking nd im angry upset annoed depressed dejected all at the same time.

Paro went through both physical and emotional pain in the hands of Rudra. Nothing slip in her hands so easily... She had to work hard to earn it all and win Rudra's love.

She went through so much in life after her parents death and her happiness was short lived while her suffering lasted for over 15 years.

So unfair on this character :/

Swathi ... good to see you here again ... to mourn the last demise. RR ended on 20th July with the death of Paro ... this new show is just a filler till BB8 starts ... no story, no depth, no substance ... the eternal soulmates washed down the drain ... apparently for Rudra, soulmates are facemates only. And all the qualities the CVs are repeating in Myrah, Rudra seems to have forgotten they were all very much present in Paro in spades and bucketloads. I'm glad the show is ending ... there is nothing to watch ... except for the pleasure of seeing Sanaya on screen ... and some good acting ... have to give it to the cast, they are all putting together some decent performances, despite the approaching end. Even Stoneface was quite watchable today 😛
If they had made this a completely new story it would have been more palatable ... but watching this after the soulmates PaRud love ... this is a travesty.

Hi Swati,
I stopped watching RR since Paro was killed...it's just a circus now...what has bothered me is that Paro suffered physical and emotional turmoil in the hands of Rudra...she went through hell before she was acknowledged. But Rudra falls for her look-a- like in 20 freaking days...great.And what did Paro get in return ...nothing. I am sick of the same portrayal that a man always gets away...to move on...I believe that there should be second chances...ofcourse but why were they portrayed as soul mates.

Also, what is with Myrah's extra melodious voice...am I only one who feels that it's extremely weird. She doesn't sound normal.
They just took us for a ride...

Paro's death broke my heart to pieces but i couldn't tear myself away from RR because i believed the makers who gave us this gem of a show would weave their storytelling magic once again and bring Paro back to Rudra. Rangrasiya is Rudra & Paro, Forever.

But after each passing episode all i get is more heartache thats lead to confusion and to utter disbelief and it hurts.

I loved this show. It was Epic.
Now it just feels like a cruel joke.

From the sublime to the ridiculous...i guess this is the kamaal da twist Ashish spoke of!?
