Anky! My God! You have gone far and away beyond your already exalted beautiful, spare, slim prose! These words are few but searing, wrenched from your heart...This is the love you want, we want, the loyalty you and we want! Nothing else matters! Nothing else will do! This is what we want from Rudra. The immortal singular love that will never die. Because she loves him that way.
Can I compliment you on your translation? You add so much dimension when you translate.
Absolutely beautiful. Your language in the conversation was so very true to character. Please add this to reth ke sehraan index. So happy that I caught this when my damn browser was behaving well!

A very beautiful piece with a song which acts as the perfect accompaniment.
Rudra and Paro were depicted very well and left the reader feeling rheir pain and angst and also led to experience the contradiction of wanting someyjing more for Rudra but not wanting to let go of paro either. So thats a job well done writing wise.

What I liked even more was the great use of Hindi in your piece. Good job :)

Why Anky, Why? But moving on..

This is one of the most beautiful, heartbreaking pieces I have read. I can feel Rudra's pain and desperation. His longing to just have Paro back. He echoes all of us. How he is just a corpse and he longs for that one night. And how it is so fleeting, but he holds onto it.

You've brought everything out. His longing for Paro, how Paro just wants Rudra to be at peace, how Maithali worries for her Devar and knows its unhealthy for him, but cant stop him.

Its interesting how Myrah also is witness to it. How she understands how strong and deep PaRud's love was. And in a way she can also witness how fleeting it is.

I have cried. And cry again. I can see Paro trying to make Rudra move on with life, but she is so ingrained within him that he won't let her.I know he should move on, but Rudra without Paro is like the air without oxygen in it. And that is how he feels , which you've beautiful brought out.

For this celestial love story, there is a no fault in the stars after all.

Crystal said everything I would have.
This is so beautiful and heartbreaking

This actually gave me goose bumps...won't even try to comment on this OS as my word won't do justice to this out of the world piece of art but adding Saaiyyra in the background gave it a further out of the world feel.
Superlative is all I can say !

Anky !!!
What can I say dear? I have no words. Your OS is so heart touching that I am not able to compose myself.
This is how Rudra is ... this is their love... Paro and Rudra's love... this is the love which had reached us and made it's place when RR was what we loved it for.
This is the soul stirring love.. the passionate love which came across to us and drove us insane because it is so selfless and seamless..has no boundaries.
Rudra's pathos is so well written...its making me cry.
This is the reason why we are unable to let go of Paro and Paro's Rudra. He is just not meant to be anyone else's.
Reading your OS made me remember the scene when Paro had said to him once ki main apko chot kaise pahuncha sakti hun...main toh apse bahut pyaar karti hu naa... I am feeling choked! This is so amazingly well written.
How the makers have deviated from this love is something which I have never been able to fathom and will never understand.
I really wish that it ends on a Parud note or it goes with Rudra being the solo way because then only the story gets it's befitting end.
You know what... you have actually written out what I feel for this kind of love ... thank u so much dear.
Lots of hugs ! God Bless u!

I took the stars from my eyes, and then I made a map
And knew that somehow I could find my way back
Then I heard your heart beating, you were in the darkness too
So I stayed in the darkness with you
______
With me, disaster finds a playfield
Love seems to draw dark, twisted pleasure tearing at me
Cos I can't let you go

...

Another place and time...

I'll dream you...wide awake
Florence and the Machine & Poets of the Fall (your one shot reminded me of these song lyrics😊)

Beautiful, poignant, heartbreaking and nostalgic

This is how I see Rudra, how I'll always see Rudra...a man eternally in love with one woman. Paro. Some people aren't made for second chances and you capture the reason why Rudra essentially isn't in this incredible angst ridden piece. Their love, their connection, it's brought to life in your writing. His suffering is her pain, his heart break is her ache, his pleads are her tears but his life is her every breath. She lives even in death, because Rudra is the one to keep her alive. That is their love! Eternal and forever.

I just want to say thank you so much for this...this will probably be more closure than what the show will most likely give us. I cried throughout...you're an incredible writer with an abundance of talent! The song choice was a devastatingly perfect fit..and I have nothing else to say beside the fact that I absolutely loved it.
