In fact since the #suchislife you can totally tell the CV's view for indian viewers are not very high which is so stupid when we are the viewers that they need for the show to continue.

All I know is that I'll be avoiding to watch another Colors show or another show controlled by #suchislife and ST, after RR.

As for the channel, I am so gonna abandon it with you post RR. With RR, Colors actually happened to be the only Indian Channel I watched mostly. You know how it goes... Everytime I switched to the channel for RR, I would end up watching their other shows too. With no RR, there's no Colors. As for the production house, I was never and won't ever be interested in any of their other shows... we've had it enough!

HBO makes tons of money, its critically acclaimed and its respected for showing well written shows!
Why can't Colors take a leaf out of HBO' book and put Quality over "??"

Whatever happens I will cherish the Beauty that is Rangrasiya no matter its fate!
It's the only Indian Tv show i watch and at this rate ever will cause I can't take this kind of mental torture and heartache!

Why, Why couldn't ST make Rangrasiya a season show than a daily!?

Cara, you can judge by the fact that a show like Diya Aur Baati Hum has topped the TRP charts. You and I would never ever consider watching such a show. However, I don't believe that the TRP audience represent the entire Indian audience. The young generation watch shows online cuz it's way more convenient for them.. TV is outdated now. So who would sit before TV sets? Grandmas and other elderly women.. and what kind of shows would they watch? Obviously cliched saas-bahu shows cuz those are the kind of stories they can connect to.

But yes, my biggest problem is why don't we count??!! We also pay... Colors Channel over here shows plenty of local advertisements when the show airs.. meaning, they are paid by these companies. So why are we excluded from the viewership count?

Wish we could have seasonal RR... but that would mean reworking the entire system which I don't think would happen anytime soon.

It is a very sorry state of affairs as of now. It is unbelievable that this chemistry...this passion has not had viewers. I am amazed. I swear I shall never watch shows on any channels now because they dish out crap.
Is everything about money and all, is there no place for creativity etc. Where do we go for some creative and artistic brialliance? every show that is a TRP gainer as of now is using all sadist plots ... what is there to watch in them? Everything OTT, plotting / planning / infidelity / cheating / violence etc . I dont want to watch just all festivals being strecthed to 4 episodes, I celebrte them myself please ! I dont want to watch the MIL bad mouthing the DIL all the time and setting up hurdles for her to clear.. I dont want to watch this nonsense that is in EVERY show...

I am all the more disheartened for Sanaya and Ashish + supporting cast of RR because each one of them has been stellar in their individual takes.

Hopefully RR should have decent ratings and it will stay on for some more time but I have no expectations from Colors. It is the most pathetic channel in terms of the treatment it dishes out to it's serials and is utterly biased.
They should have adopted reverse strategy... since RR was lagging behind, they should have promoted it differnetly rather than just killing it bit by bit.
It speaks very poorly of their management because their attitude is that the weaker section is not to be bothered about, just chase the golden goose. I just hope this goose becomes elusive to them in the long run.

I completely agree with every point you've raised Aaliah. Yes, Sanaya shall soon have a new project but I highly doubt that we'd ever get to see such an adorable onscreen jodi again. The secret being that both Sanaya and Ashish are extremely hard working...

I too feel more sorry for the cast and the crew of RR than the fact that the show itself might wrap up. They are all fabulous actors with so much potential. Definitely they don't deserve this.

Soon after RR began, the head of Colors had stated that their channel shall soon become the no.1 Indian channel. With the kind of management and marketing skills that they have displayed, I don't see that happening in another 100 years.

You're right!

Rangrasiya was never the cliched saas-bahu type show so it was never gonna click with that audience!

It was for the younger generation that were captivated and wanted an intense passionate love story!

Could it have worked if they had promoted it more?

Aired it at a later timeslot?

Maybe the story itself leant itself to being a limited tele-series!

I just wish they give Rangrasiya a chance because it really is groundbreaking Indian television! 😭
