I was out of town and had missed two episodes. Finally caught up.

And I will have to sadly agree with what all the others around me are saying.

I tried. I actually genuinely tried.

I still am giving it my best shot.

But the show is stretching the word OKAY even.

I don't find anything which would make me stick myself in front of the TV for half an hour.

I was at my hometown, in Jaipur... And even there nobody watches it anymore.

They don't like the modern version. And have switched to stuff like YHM and KB. My maasis and maamis and everyone were talking about all these serials, including Mahabharat. But nobody even MENTIONED Rangrasiya.

Jabki Rangrasiya was an authentic Rajasthani flavored show. Yet no one in Rajasthan seems to watch it anymore.

The other day, my colleague said, "Sumer-Shatabdi mast chhe. Hor jova laayak kasu nahi rahi gayu serial maa."

Translated: Only Sumer-Shatabdi are worth watching. Rest nothing is watchable in that serial anymore.

And I couldn't even reply or justify. Cuz I am losing interest too.

Myra is all sorts of okay. She will definitely bring a smile to one's face. But that is it. She doesn't manage to do anything else to me.

And Rudra is becoming bland by the day as well.

The only emotions that anyone manages to trigger inside me is Maithili. Or the constant flashbacks of Paro.

Nothing else.

And it saddens me. Rangrasiya was glorious once. Now it feels like stale hospital food. Doesn't even inspire me to write.

😊have to agree with you. It is not soul stirring anymore.
I am watching for Sanish only but the characters have fizzled out. Rudra is not himself anymore and Paro is not there... so he is incomplete as it is.
Myrah is good but not with Rudra in same frame...it is just not standing up to the mark no matter which angle I try to look at it.
Only sticking around because of Sanish and because I hope to see Myrah as Paro but lets see how it goes. My heart is not beating anymore in anticipation of RR 2.0 as it used to for RR original and I am very sad because I miss it so much. It still hurts !

I have no idea what or why. All I wanted to say was that it isn't working for me anymore.

I support the main cast, but it just doesn't really make me feel anything anymore.

Hi Anky Doll! <3 Hope you're doing well darling! šŸ¤—
Now, I completely 100% agree with you. 100%. Last week our firm had a conference, so I was pulling in 16 hour days and was exhausted. I missed every episode that week and caught up this weekend. I missed nothing. I could have very well not watched and been 100% fine. The story is just lacking the X factor and spark that it once happened; combined with the fact that I'm not digging this new Dhruv (no offense cute little munchkin actor); I just can't wrap by head around RR 2.0. I'm trying not to be a debbie downer, because I've seem *some* viewers we are enjoying it; and yes Sanaya's acting is amazing because Myrah feels completely different from Paro, but the reality is that I'm just feeling Paro's loss still- it's like this void that can't be filled or replaced; I can't move on- no stages of grief can really make me move on. I'm only hanging around for the hope that by some freaky-it-only-happens-in-tellywood scenario, we get Paro back- Myrah is Paro. Thats the ONLY reason.

I don't know what the end game is anymore, this false advertising of this epic love story of two people destined to be together and endless Shiv and Parvati parallels have left me depresed; Damn it colors and their stupidity 😭

Yes, exactly. It used to be soul stirring. Now everything just seems... fake.

Rudra was never anything without Paro. But I thought maybe as a new show, I could give it a chance. But this new show is completely bland.

In the same frame, these two look like aliens. I don't understand how its possible... because they are the same actors. Then how is the chemistry not working anymore?

I am a 100 percent sure that Myra isn't Paro. With every episode, the CVs are taunting our theories and making fun of it.

And exactly. 9.30 baj bhi jaate hai aur yaad hi nahi rehta ki Rangrasiya dekhna hai.

I know what you are saying. It is not happening even with same actors because we have been eating, sleeping, drinking, drooling and talking about Paro for Rudra and Rudra for Paro. Plus the characterization of Paro was such that she used to worship him and for Rudra , she was the world.
If the CV's are trying to replace Paro with Myrah it is turning out to be bland because Paro was all that Rudra needed and she complemented him. I do not see Myrah complementing him in any way. I don't even think she needs him in any way unlike Paro .
She can at best be a friend,,,, it is the character that the actors played earlier which made us crazy .. their actions/ reactions / interactions were to die for...and now ... I cringe in my seat if asked to imagine Rudra Myrah linked romantically. the serial makers have done a bog blunder in first creating a couple meant to be together always and then rushing through their prime story stupidly.
Mere serial ka satya naash kar dia yar Anky !

My sentiments exactly.. Out of habit, I come to the forum and read updates... Paro invoked so much response in me that I used to complain a lot😭... I don't even feel like watching Myra let alone complainšŸ˜•... Rudra is as you said correctly 'bland"... he is just a skeleton of the old Rudra Pratap Ranawat. šŸ˜•..

ReeRee! I am doing well!

I actually was in Jaipur for the weekend. Raksha Bandhan and all us cousins got together after like ages and it was super fun and I laughed so much that my jaw is still paining.

But the thing is, I did not even once think that maybe I should catch up on the episodes. Usually I never miss it. And we are a really big joint family there. A family that has 4 TV sets. And not one of my maamis watches RR! Socho!

When I slipped in and asked, cuz usually I do that and judge whether the general public is liking it or not, they all went, "Kaunsa show?? Achcha woh!! Pehle dekha karte the... Ab toh bakwaas ho gaya..."

Which made me want to scream and shout. Ki kaise mai izzat bachaau apni, ki mai aisa show dekhti hu joh koi bhi nahi dekhta apparently.

I have never really been very warm towards children. I usually am very cold towards kids, and kids here in this serial make no difference to me. I find it all forced and fake. Seriously.

And I am trying to remove myself completely from this forum, because I know nobody really likes to read rants and cribbing posts. That's why I am trying to quit this forum, but sometimes I need to just vent and I am glad that a few like you will hear me out.

My problem is that I have accepted that Myra isn't Paro. And so, I see nothing appealing in the show. NOTHING.

Kuch bhi mazaa nahi aa raha yaar. Aur pehle... pehle every goddamn episode was fireworks!
