If shantanu was present in the marriage function and was part of the baraat as shown in the snap with varun how come he survived when it was told time and again that paro was the only survivor and everyone else got killed in that bloodbath at border.

Maybe he was the BSD mole who helped them so far and stayed on this side of the border. He might have gotten a mission in Kashmir where he had to go immediately as per VK Singh's info. We will know more when he is exposed.
