My question to ST and his PH is - when they knew that BB season was going to be coming up, why did he agree to show two of his serials in the 9 pm and 9:30 pm slots ?

Was he expecting to end them early, or was he expecting to move their time-slots ?

So PH knew all along that BB was coming.

And ST has held positions in Colors TV, so its not news for him.

then what is the need make a show without time line
they could have made a show with a limited episode na
there will be no need for going off air issues

I think they knew it all along that their time will change. What has shocked them is the failure in trps.

They did not know BB will come on colors...LifeOk was competing too this year for BB rights...i think til last month it was not clear who would get it...seems colors offered more bucks, they won.
And with RR, I think they didn't need an excuse anymore...colors, last year they were competing for no.1 spot with SP and this year its on 3rd...so they are desperate for trps.

BB6 was also on Colors.

Do these types of shows bid for channels every year ?

I wonder what shows in Colors caused it be at # 1 last year.

I too readabout it recently. I think they do 2-3 years deal then renegotiate.
KBC was on SP for years but now on sony...for example.
And MB last year was giving good trps for colors, also SSK is consistent performer, BV too was in top 5 last year.
