No matter what has gone wrong or what could have been done better, we can have a million view points and suggestions but I think there is one thing they did absolutely right and that is RUDRA AND PARO AS A COUPLE. Say what you must about them individually maybe Rudra could have been this or that, and definitely Paro could have been written a lot differently but as a unit Rudra and Paro are magnificent. I think Rudra and Paro as a couple are iconic in how they are as a unit, I can't remember the last time I saw a show when there was so much togetherness between a couple. I don't think this will ever be repeated again on TVand the sad irony of if is the fact and Rudra and Paro being so perfect might have worked against the show as a whole. I also noticed a lot of comments on the forum asking for the missing intensity, and yes we are not seeing the same intensity that was at the start now because they are just too in-sync with each other and the writers have written them like that. I don't know who these TRP people are, but ekta kapoor shows I have seen on and off and they are the highest TRP gainers, and let me tell you guys what ekta kapoor does to her leads it makes the fans weep blood, she will put them through the blender and spit them out. I hated seeing that it was horrifying but who knows maybe that is what the audience wants, to see leads suffer to see them in pain, lie and betray each other.
I don't know how long this show will last but we do know one thing for sure Sanaya and Ashish after RR is over will never be Rudra and Paro again, and they also will never act together again as lovers. I know we all have our favourites from our past shows but for me personally there was something magical about this couple that I have never seen before, probably never will and it was a pleasure to see them on screen, actors were brilliant, characters poignant, their journey blissful, it was a real honour to watch them. RR creatives are getting a dish load of criticism, but I salute thee and my heartfelt thanks for giving us Rudra and Paro, for me the most iconic couple TV industry has ever seen. It is a combination of three soulful writing, honest characters, and brilliant acting rarely you will get to see the three come together so perfectly and that is why it will take something really special in the future to beat Rudra and Paro. I will definitely shed a tear when this journey comes to an end.

LA, great to see you!! 🤗And agree with you about PaRud being a unique, magical entity. And also about the fact that their very togetherness, their solid-unshakeable bond is working against them at the moment, because even without the consummation, which tends to be the magic-killer in desi-soapdom, their relationship has degenerated into cosy. There is none of the scorch and sizzle in their everyday interaction. I'm not saying that every moment should be hottt, just that for a couple so dying to sleep together and yet so frustrated, there is none of that craving, that restlessness and yes that intensity coming through. Very frequently the feel is that of a longish-married couple who've taken the edge off. And then the CVs remember and turn up the heat a bit. Quite a few other inconsistencies too, but won't dwell on them just now.
some one tweet this to ST

Superb post, Hiral. You've said everything that needs to be - hit the nail spectacularly on the head with some of the points (above) that are particularly close to my heart. I so hope that ST gets to read this and is re-energised to deliver the story that RR can be. I refuse to give up on RR - still think that with a course correction we can get a gripping tale that makes more strategic use, among other things, of two brilliant leads, the original premise and the great Indian outdoors. The show had such fantastic promise and I want at least some of it realised. And yes, like yours, my TV will remain switched on at 9.30 regardless. 😊
