Today there were a number of scenes that I really liked. I really enjoyed the interaction between PaRud while the decorations were being put up. Paro is getting naughty day by day, lol and she enjoys giving it back to Major Saab 😉 but he loves it. You can tell from the mischievous twinkle in his eyes...the look that he gives her. But the scene of most significance and appreciation today was the last scene of the episode...when Rudra forms a brief yet important meeting with the other two significant ladies in his life - his Bhabhi Sa and woh aurat - Maasa!
It was interesting to see Major Saab's tactics. He approached the ladies with the flower basket, and also with a very important message - take care of Paro. He may not have referred to Mala directly, but his words were for both her and Maithli. Why? Because it's about Paro. And when it comes to Paro, Rudra isn't willing to take any risks. He is willing to bend that stubborn back of his, even if it means joining forces with Mala, albeit in an indirect manner.
The writers of Rang Rasiya are very smart. This ain't a typical daily soap. This isn't a script based on the antics of kitchen politics. It's based on complex relationships and human nature...and the lengths we would go to in order to protect the ones that we love. And that is precisely what we are seeing with Rudra. We have seen a relationship of trust and respect develop between him and Maithli, who is probably PaRud's most loyal supporter. But through this upcoming stalker track, we are likely to see some sort of understanding develop between the estranged mother and son duo. It will take time - but it will gradually happen.
Because although Rudra can be rough, stern - that is all on the surface. On the inside, Major Saab is a big softie who would never compromise Paro's safety and well being. And if that means having to interact with Mala, well then so be it. Major Saab has given orders to his troop. He has told them of their mission. And now that this grand alliance has formed, I very much look forward to forthcoming episodes. They should be a real cracker.
Side note: the stalker is one big pervert 😆 of all the pics that he has of Paro and Rudra, he's analysing the romantic ones! Looks like some sort of device/camera has been installed in PaRud's room. Clearly we have a loony on the scene...
