My question Sush, if the basic foundation is not fixed how will bringing in a new guy help ratings?

Who knows what they are thinking snowfall...I guess...Othello was always the base plot...so they are going to execute that...Perhaps they will show that Varun didn't die after all...and is back with a plastic surgery...Varun also had dimples didn't he? I cringe at Othello plot...will give this a try...and if it does not look good...that's it for me for this show...

Sush, it is only Rudra who was based somewhat on Othello, Rangrasiya itself is not based on Othello at all. ST clarified this.

Also, I know Indian soaps show very illogical things e.g. dead people coming back to life with a new face...but Varun was shot in the forehead...even if he somehow didn't die because of that...the BSD collected all the bodies...and kept them. How can Varun go for days in the BSD headquarters with a bullet in his head?? I really hope the CVs don't show something stupid like like a BSD mole who somehow sneaks Varun off to a hospital where he recovers...how would the BSD not miss him...is the Indian army that careless...I don't know...

Yeah...I agree...this one is hard to pull off...Specially with a bullet on the head...! It is most likely a childhood friend of Paro...who she is very comfortable with...and who is probably now in BSD...,Why he wants to disfigure Paro...who knows...perhaps he was a corrupt officer who was actually benefitting from the arms trade and smuggling...and now is making no money because Rudy has put all that to a stop...This is pure speculation...of course...

But about Othello...they will never show Rudy killing Paro...but the plot is about Rudy's insecurities and trust issues...just like the character Othello had...so, the trust has to be tested...perhaps this Mala reverse psychology thing was also to dig holes in that trust...Rudy does have this unhealthy obsession with Paro...it is raising red flags for me...

Sush, I cringe at the othello plot too, hope it is not going aganist it, I hope they execute this properly...and like Laila or Mala plot...I have been giving them leave all along...this is the only show I watch, I hope I do not give up on it...

Ok I'm going to brainstorm...The CVs may go the way you are saying, with the negative lead being a childhood friend of Paro's...but the Paro we were shown in the beginning of RR...was very traditional and super shy...she couldn't even look at Varun...she belonged to a culture where men were not - could not - be friends with women; in a typical rural Rajastani setting women don't even talk to - many don't even look at - men who are not family. I guess if Mala and Tejawat had a son though - or even if Tejawat had a son with a former wife - Paro would be more comfortable with him, as she may have seen him as family. Who knows. I still don't see her interacting with any man on a friendship basis though - even if she was friends with boys during her childhood (which happens a lot...little Paro was friendly with little Rudra remember), her culture would prevent her from maintaining that friendship as she grew older.

Or...I'm just being way too critical and logical...this is an Indian soap after all...so scratch everything I said...a childhood friend is possible. 😆

@bold...wow you may be right there. Rudra will definitely never kill Paro - this is an Indian soap - but his insecurities with Paro may rise tremendously with this new track...and Paro's use of reverse psychology...which was kind of tricking Rudra and lying to him in a sense...could have been setting the foundation further for the upcoming track...

Sometimes I feel that we IF girls are more creative than the CVs themselves though. 😆
