Thank you all for a good discussion...Sorry didn't have much time to write more today...
@hm...I understand your POV...I was hoping Mala and DS would acknowledge and apologize for the damage and slowly and gradually there will be recovery...but everything seems rushed...
Looks like the Indian audience is not relating to Mala ...so they are trying to wrap up the track...

Bingo on Mala part. On some other post i was the only one defending her. This was way before they showed Mala's part of story. Every one was hell bound to hang her even before the trial. And when i asked what if there was an abusive relation no one was still ready to accept it.😕
I am born and brought up in India and yet am not understanding how come educated peeps have such thought process😕
Unfortunately most of them are women/young ladies and that made me wonder what would they do if God forbids they had to face it🤔

Hello gals sorry for butting in I myself being an international viewer n non TRP audience are not connecting with MAla inspite of going through so many analysis I totally understand how the TRP aunties must be thinking it's a very sensitive issues especially in India for a woman to leave her child and run away with another man even though she was abused but it's not acceptable to many still..
Also I feel the overnight glorifying of MAla and painting Dilsher black inspite of showing him to be all goody goody from the beginning from the first interaction of him and Paro and now a sudden change is not digestible by me and could be with the TRP audience too 😕

Also the actress playing MAla doesn't emote well gives very blank expression atleast I cannot really connect with her at all

Another thing is there is not much efforts shown in her part that she should have taken her son with her or the CVs are not very clear on that aspect I don't know 😲

I can very well understand what TRP audience must be feeling as I myself are getting bored and tired of seeing MAla everywhere on my screen and the actress playing just doesn't help at all

Sorry if I offended anyone not that I don't feel for MAla Afcourse being a woman I will not stand abuse and it is definitely sad for anyone to go through but what I feel is for TRP audience they may still not like if a woman leaves her child and that too spend the rest of their life with another man it's still not digestible for them (solely my point if view)

@Zee: I read your reply on the previous posts and the responses here. I understand from where you are coming and I do get it! I get annoyed when they sideline FL - but here its mostly been Rudra POV throughout. Paro's emotions other than love and sacrifice are not shown. thats a gripe for me too. But the PH is taking our feedback seriously I believe - they have improved the direction, camera angles, romantic scenes and balancing between Parud and family drama.

If only her monologues are shown, it will help the audience connect better with her!!Though I dont like dragging, sometimes it is too fast paced or to keep the suspense or whatever, many things are glossed over!!

I think the family scene was to show him that he was loved - because that is his main complaint - no one loved him. His parents are at fault, they are flawed, they dont deserve forgiveness. But its never about them is it? Its about HIM. What he needs! 15 years is a long time for anyone to feel unworthy ? Does he deserve it? Does any child deserve it? He needs to let it go so he can live the life he deserves with Paro. Does the end justify the means ?? Sometimes, I dont know Zee! And thats when I take a step back and just enjoy what they show instead of breaking my head 😆😆😆

That's great if they're taking our advice, now can they take our advice on Paro and actually give her characterization depth?? 😆 I want to see multiple layers to her personality as well, and I want it to be visible on-screen, I don't want to have to read a page long analysis on her on IF in order to understand her even a little bit.

Yes his main complaint is that nobody loved him, and he is right to feel that way...because for 15 years he felt unloved. Is one family get-together supposed to change that, make him think otherwise? I feel like that's what the CVs want us to think...and it's irritating as hell. I feel as cornered as Rudra when I watch the show. Unlike him, I would probably lose it and tell everyone to go take a hike...and then I would go off to the honeymoon by myself, to get some space 😆

Yeah sometimes I forget that we're watching an Indian soap here and sooner or later we have to just step back and enjoy what we are shown or stop watching...because a lot of the things we will be shown won't make sense but we can't do anything about it...it's an Indian daily drama after all 😆

@BOLD: BINGO! EXACTLY! That's what I am saying! Paro has also been getting so many things wrong since Mala came back. First, she told her that she needs to be admired for having to courage to come back to right her wrongs (while tending to her wounds in BSD) - totally ignoring the fact that Mala came back only because she had nowhere else to go! And because Laila was trying to use her as a pawn to get back in Rudra's good books. Then she told Rudra that she couldn't see HERThakurain Maasa in pain, which is why she kept going back to her. I mean, really?! If she is your maasa like you claim she is, how come you aren't questioning her as to why she left her son? She did perfunctorily ask that question once when they were at Laila's, but then she just went on talking without waiting for an answer and it was never mentioned again. Uff!!

I'm so glad someone else feels the same way as I do! Funny how Paro can't bear to see Thakurain maasa in pain, she starts crying every time Mala seems to be in pain, but she hasn't been shown shedding one tear in thoughts of how much pain Rudra must have felt for 15 years 🤔 This is the CVs fault, they need to concentrate on Paro as well as Rudra! When Paro read Rudra's letters to his mother she cried, but now she doesn't think about Rudra's pain once now that it's in his face and cry about it? I find it hard to believe. The Paro I know would hold Rudra tight and cry with him, I choose to believe that she does do that and we are just not shown those scenes 😆 It keeps me sane!

I mean, yeah, when we think about it and analyze Paro and all that we can come up with a million different explanations for her behaviour, we will always rationalize the behaviour of our favourite characters (Paro and Rudra), but if I can't understand Paro's thought process and reasoning on-screen then there's a problem.

The following two pictures are for Paro:

Bhavi, I don't think anybody is against Mala for leaving an abusive husband...One has to be insane to feel that she should have stayed with him...what most ppl are against is her leaving her child with that abusive psychopath. She should have fought for her son which she did not, instead went on to live a happy ,luxurious life with her lover, without giving a thought to her child. That's hard to overlook.
