Hey there peeps! I was lurking around the forum one last time before I go to sleep, as I had a really shitty tiring day at work, thinking that some of my favorite people must have posted on the beautiful scene that happened today, but alas! Nobody did. And I was heartbroken and then thought why not make a post myself just to console me that the scene was beautiful tonight.
:)

What scene am I talking about? The one where his finger is playing with the flame of the candle, and she casually strolls by and then sits next to him.

The scene where he cannot understand the conflict he is feeling inside, and wants her to just be on his side without any questions.

The scene where she lets him rest his head on her dainty feminine shoulders, being the strongest support he needs right now, and explains that there are no sides, there is no war. It is just him holding on to things that need to be let go.

I'll come to the letting go part a bit later. First I want to tell you people something that happened in my office today.

Aaj as I was sitting casually at my desk, my colleague (whom I turned into a RR watcher) comes to me and says how the track is going brilliantly. I usually try to hide my fangurling in workplace, but she and me sometimes do talk serials. And then she proceeds to tell me that she like Paro-Rudra ki love story the best because the progression is so NATURAL. She says she never understands why the hell every serial goes straight to lip-kiss, when its never like that in real life. As soon as she mentioned kiss, I was a lil uncomfy (she is ten years older than me), but I let her ramble. It was fun to watch someone else phangurl, you see. So, she says, its always first getting to know each other, getting comfortable with each others presence, and then the relationship takes the next level. Other serials don't do that and she found Rangrasiya and the love story unique due to this.

And that got me thinking tonight.

And that is when that scene happened.

You don't need pushy background scores. You don't need forced winds to be blowing from each and every corner of the room. You don't even need the leads to be non-stop staring into each others eyes.

You just need the natural comfort and ease. And the love just shows.

That is what happened with the scene. There were no unnecessary gimmicks. My colleague was right. They are really really natural and there love story could be just another love story between a man and a woman. They don't TRY to be special. They just try to LOVE each other... And it just seeps through on your screen.

Now coming back to letting it go.

What Paro said, "Jaane dijiye Major-Saab."

Now, what she said there, were golden words. And her Major Saab understood that. He is tired. He knows all the aspects of the story of his life. He even knows that neither of his parents bothered that their son remains sane. He has screamed that out to them too. But now what?

What is he supposed to do now?

Hold on to the hatred forever and never achieve mental peace?

Or maybe... just maybe... try letting it go.

Letting it go might be the only thing that helps him heal the psychological wounds he carries.

And that is what Paro wants. Paro wants her Major Saab healed. Paro wants her Major Saab healthy. Paro wants her Major Saab happy.

Because nothing else really matters in the world for Paro.

P.S. - Raghuvir Shekawat-sa, Pucchi le lo. Kya dialogues likhte ho. Kasam se.

P.P.S. - The acid promo has everyone in shivers. I cannot imagine the Maha-Destructive Taandav my Rudra-Dev is going to do. Lord save the negative villain already.

thanks for making this post, it is wonderful...
Perfect words, I am feeling the same too

Your colleague was right, abt the shows uniqueness...

About what I feel, abt parents, not everyone is the same, not all can express and show the love they feel, not everyone is perfect, everyone has flaws, today was abt the parents accepting their flaws, but does that make them bad parents, we cannot pass judgement without being in their shoes. She suffered she cud not take it anymore she left, she did love him as long as she held him, now she is realizing her mistakes, what is solution to this is to change and show that the love was always their, if not shown...

Same for Dilsher too, he is correcting his mistakes and accepting them...

Today's episode was all abt it, accept your mistake and move on if possible and not let it happen again...

Thank you! :)

Even if Mala and Dilsher are bad parents, its not like you can get rid of them. They screwed up Rudra pretty bad, and he was right to confront them. He was right when he said that no one bothered to care for him, or think about him. Besides, there have been innumerable cases of bad parents I have seen, both in reel and real life. At the end of the day, what can one really do? They are parents. You adjust. You make peace with the fact that they are flawed. You let go of their mistakes so that you can sleep in peace at night.

I for one, am only concerned about Rudra's well being. And that'll only happen when he makes peace with the fact that there in NOTHING he can change. All he can do is move on and make a better life with Paro.
