I went back and re-watched the scene again after I read this, and I want to thank you for making sure I got the nuances the 10th time around, that I missed during the first 9 viewings! It made the smoldering passion ...graceful and meaningful as well, and gave such depth to an already dreamy character.

Honestly, Rudra and Paro have to be some of the best written characters on TV, and the subtlety of the writing is a double edged sword. I see Paro often being misunderstood, her naivete mistaken for stupidity, or Rudra's demons being written off as dramabaazi. Its hard to expect TRP aunties or the unobservant fans to really analyze each scene, like we IF-ki- aatmas tend to do. We get a richer experience, but they get less heartburn!

But thank you because you caught something, and explained it so beautifully, it reminded me again that I am watching a show that might not have huge TRPs or obvious bombastic characters--but it has sensuality. beauty and a poignant love story. Thrilled to share the viewing experience with beautifully nuanced writers/ fellow addicts such as yourself!

I just loved how Major Saab's eyes trailed over Paro's face...He was so delicate with her.

Episode was intense passion, pure romance and softness all in one!

EDIT: I watched it again to see the part you are referring to (ok, any excuse to watch it, lol) and you are very right! Well observed. Don't know how to describe that actual moment...but it spoke volumes.
