Thoughts on Mohini's backstory

So yesterday was all about how Mohini broke bad :P...her justifications for all that she has done so far...for they say evil isn't born, it's made. But to what level can Mohini be justified?

She felt slighted, looked over...she felt that she didn't get her due...for a woman so ambitious, this was intolerable.

I have to pause and wonder though how Dilsher was the most eligible bachelor in town...was this before or after his handicap? Something tells me the handicap developed after his marriage to Mala...and that might have been the cause of the rift b/w him and Mala too...him having turned bitter over the helplessness it brought...and maybe pushed Mala away due to that? And then Mohini must have taken advantage of the rifts in this marriage.

It seems the haveli is the true point of contention...where it all basically begins for Mohini especially...maybe that is what made Dilsher an eligible bachelor...the property in his name...and is what Mohini was vying for...but Dilsher chose the more beautiful Mala over her...and Mohini blames everyone around her for agreeing to this...she felt she was backed into a corner and had no choice but to agree to the humiliating decisions made for her by others as she sees it...like having to marry the younger brother Danveer no matter how nice he is but he wasn't the prize catch and that is all Mohini wanted...to get the prize catch, to rule the haveli as Queen.

So what she wasn't given by right, she decided to take by force...and thus set into motion plans that took a while to bear fruit...she capitalized on any opportunity she saw...increasing the rift in Dilsher-Mala's marriage possibly...getting Mala to leave, then Dilsher-Rudra following suit soon and all was well in Mohini's world...she may not have managed to get the haveli by legal right through marriage but she managed to remove all other heir apparents to it.

No wonder it was such a blow for her when all of them decided to come back one fine day one by one...what do they say about the best laid plans?

RR kinda has its own version of Game of Thrones going on here😆...Power struggles...the level to which people are willing to go to RULE...

And Mohini now has to reboot her gameplan all over again...her advantage being that those rifts still exist in a sense, not so much b/w Dilsher-Mala anymore maybe but a whole another set b/w Rudra-Mala...those too encouraged by Mohini all those years back...the seeds she sowed have borne poisonous fruit in Rudra's mind for sure and now she is all set to reap those.

Life has come full circle for the Ranawats...what happened in the past has a lot of bearing on the present...Rudra is a product of this very poisonous past...even if Mohini poisoned it and managed to use everyone else as pawns in this game, it doesn't absolve them of their mistakes.

She felt bad not only about the rejection but also the fact that she was made to feel "inferior" to her YOUNGER sister...and it was always about POWER and SUPERIORITY for Mohini.

Anu, Mohini's story as such went over my head😆 I just have one question on Mohini. Why is she is putting all this out for everyone to hear? That she is jealous of Mala etc etc etc. How can these ppl live under the same roof after this? 😕

Wow Game of Thrones, I am all game for it 😆😆. I am yet to watch the previous episode. Read there was a huge battle in the north. Man I know I am so out of context😆.
Coming back to RR, yesterday was not really a surprise, it was all predicted here way before and this was how it went yesterday. Her hurt and rejection causing her to get so evil seems realistic from the perspective of a televisions show😆.

Interesting point about the marketability of Dilsher, I am wondering the same. Besides wealth and position, possibly he was really handsome when he was young. He is tall and dark, see he has such an amazing son too😆😆

Well this question is kinda answered in today's epi if you've watched it yet...where btw Mohini's nautanki still constituted a good 70% of the epi...oh joy.

I think she's doing it all for obvious emotional blackmail reasons...she painted herself the victim today and said that she was the one who took care of the haveli all these years under debt and other financial crisis while Dilsher-Mala coolly ran off shirking responsibilities and now she cannot bear the injustice that the very people who ran away are being welcomed back with open arms while she who served her husband all her life (😆) is being disrespected...nautanki central, basically.

And it seems pretty obvious that it's working on Mala again cuz based on this and seeing the tension/love b/w RP, Mala is deciding to leave the house again.

LOL I'm yet to watch most of this 4th season...I've read the books though so I know the general story...the battles are bigger in the books.

Re: RR...yes it's not a surprise but the way Mohini is painting herself the victim again to get Mala out of the house is just😕😆

I can't imagine Dilsher being handsome in his youth...lol...my imagination doesn't stretch that far...Rudra got his looks from Mala only😆

@Game of Thrones, 😆😆, only read a bit of the first book. Yup I have heard that they merged the battle from two books, but I am speaking from very limited knowledge, with regard to the books 😆😆 Jamie Lannister seems to be going towards the white path in this season. I find his character off late to be one of the most interesting one in the lot.

@RR, yup all the melo drama is being poured out. Dilsher I agree😆😆, Rudra seems to have acquired his looks from Mala, remember the eyes😆. Chalo if not the looks, everything else is acquired from bapusa.

Wow they are really holding on to that RP scene since past a week now...and whatever little they are showing also doesn't have that much impact when they actually get around to showing it...

I mean it sounds like a scene that could be nice on paper...Paro's innocent questions v/s a very weary and tired Rudra...but somehow the execution was just off.

And honestly Paro asking Rudra how she should bring the whole family together was🤔😆

They've settled into a strange kind of ROUTINE...and routine is the LAST thing you want in a story😆
