I have not been able to come to the forum much myself in the last week - but wow what a week so far - no wonder you are making threads each day Sush! I have read and enjoyed all the posts and finally found time to reply!

Onto today's episodes The main crux of the backstory has now come to light - we need to see the background upon which the story is painted - decisions taken years ago can have repercussions for the rest of people's lives. Some people do not let themselves forget - whether it be genuine heartbreak or a bruise to thier ego and when they have brains and desire for revenge - you essentially get a Mohini.

So know we know the truth about why Mohini is how she is and what happened nearly 30 years ago! She is definitely not one to take rejection lying down - did her love for Dilsher turn in to the love for the haveli or vice versa - I guess it seemed she liked Dilsher from what she said today - but was her love more for him or the haveli and its status. Mala seems to look up to Mohini too but there is no reciprocal sibling love they couldn't be more different than Dilsher and Danveer in their love for each other

I am sure there is more to be revealed and how Mohini orchestrated the breakdown of Dilsher's and Mala's marriage - when they find out - will it change their views on each other? Will Mohini and Danveer's marraige now break - when he realises what she is capable of and that she was never happy with him?

I did like the brief Parud scene - I definitely think the CVs read the IF views - often when Rudra questions Paro and Paro questions Rudra - the words seems to come from IF members - more power to us!! they use our questions to allow the character to justify themselves - see who needs big brother when we have our own big brother in the CVs interacting with us in the show itself!

Agree Tennessean - the CVs are constantly bringing up poison from Mohini's mouth regarding Dilsher's disabiliy and Samrat and Maithali's inability to have children - i guess they are showing with people like Mohini who hang onto their hurt in and a desire for revenge - there can be no sensibility towards anybody's else's feelings - she feels she is justified as she was hurt too and nobody cared about her feelings then - no wonder she hates Rudra! A constant reminder of her betrayal

I sincerely hope the mangalsutra ends up around Paro's neck very soon and not anyone else's!
Also you are very right about Laila's unresolved feelings Sush - they need resolving and from what I have seen of Laila - she is not one to take things lying down - so she needs her feelings to be resolved, otherwise her fearlessness and callous regard for society allows her to be even more dangerous than Mohini. I think a great twist will beher joining the BSD not just getting married to Sumer or someone else - she would be an asset for sure!

Also I am glad the CVs are sticking to the story - this bit is essential for the story to move forward - we need to know what motivates the characters and what kind of people they are and why they do what they do. Although of course I miss the Parud romance - there is time for that and when it's back hopefully we will see some of that passion we were promised

Here is a song to offer a little glimpse into the darkness of Mohini's world

Hi Anita! Thanks for sharing the song...and posting! 😃

RR story is the strongest I have seen in any TV serial so far...There is a sincere attempt to explain each characters motivation and actions...I like that!

Well done. The fact that Mohini has her own grudge and hurt, makes her more real...not just any other baddie painted black.
Loved the Major in black.

Thanks Malika! I agree with you!

Sush, thought you were going to take a break today... Thank You, for the post... The episode was Awesome...

I loved PaRud scene... Finally Paro knows that Rudra got her a Mangalsutra...😃. The way she questions him, "Is it for me?" And his straight answers, "Of Course, who else wilI get it for."(Obviously 😆) was damn adorable 😳. And the hurt in Paro's eyes when Rudra out of anger suggests, "this relation might just be that thread for her... That she might as well one day leave him..." He didn't actually complete the sentence but Paro got it. His unsaid words were enough to hurt her deeply... But she composes herself and asks him to complete his sentence if that will relieve him of his pain and frustration... I felt very sorry for her there. The consistence in her character is what I am loving... And Rudy Boy, please be nice to her...😊

It was totally Mohini's episode today... So Dilsher went to see Elder sister and married the younger one...Ouch! But Dilsher cleared the air saying the marriage happened only on her agreement... But how could she have said No when her own sister is ready to for the wedding??? And Damn! to hold the grudge for this long and to ruin your own sisters life for it. Power, greed and vengeance makes a person very bitter inside out and Mohini is a perfect example for it.

No body was at fault for both the weddings... But all four suffered because she was too tangled in her own revenge and betrayal (If there is any)... And the under 40 walkout was hilarious...😆😆 All her kids obediently walk away the minute she announces PG 40. Great kids👍🏼

Ananya was brilliant today... No OTT. No extra expressions.Just perfect...👏👏👏... Every actor contributed today... It was a treat to watch.

The precap... I loved how Rudra showed Laila her place... Poor Laila her plan is failing miserably. And girls, I watched precap again after Zee confirmed that it was not Mangalsutra... She is right 👍🏼... It is just thread of his jacket zipper.😃 (Yup, I did my research on it. Even got a PhD 😉.. CV's what have you made me into😆)...

Typed in a real rush... Really sorry for any mistakes and if I missed out on anything. Ok, I need to go before my hubby loses it😛... Bye.

Will catch up with you later girls...🤗

Minnu, excellent post ...as always...!
You have a great ability to "feel" the characters Minnu...I hope you will not limit it to feeling only some characters and not others...

Oh No! Shaktii...scoring a 10 is not surprising...but what happened to Ashish? In all Latin American dances the upper body has to be relatively still while the lower one moves due to foot and hip movement...very different from Indian dancing...where we love shaking our shoulders...hope the choreographer trained him enough on it...

Do me a favor and post the link to his dance alone...here..Shwets...OK?

@JJ: Since u doing a Mala act, I expect u to surface sooner than her please!
Here is another take on giving : givers have set limits because takers rarely do!

@Sush: Yea, I am liking the fact that they are trying to create grey characters. I think when something does not work, they go back to the time tested formulae of black shades only. Or maybe like Minnu said to show Rudra in better light. I just wish they give more clarity like how they gave for Mohini. U dont have to like her or love her. Hate her but understand where she is standing. Maybe she is wrong, but there is a reason for that angst. I hope they continue to showcase complexities in a relation.

A journalist friend wanted my opinion on Diya aur bati as it was consistently being the number one show and I too was curious to see how they managed. The 2nd show is miles behind them. So I wondered what they were doing right. I watched a couple of episodes. U know what, the leads were not the strength there - its the mother in law. She is the central character. She is shown as a grey shade but a straight shooter. She may talk rough but intentions are always towards the good of the family. But what is the story ? Of a girl wanting to be IPS officer who gets married ! If I am not mistaken, the main plot came into picture after a year - not sure though. Yet they managed to hook the people to the show for such a long time without failing a single week. I did not watch for more than 2 days but I could understand why they are hooked up.

So I really dont know what the TRP audience wants - romance too has worked if we see IPK, drama too works. No matter how much we rant about Ekta, her show is doing good - be it in Zee or Star or Sony!

I dont know why I spoke about this, totally off topic. 😕😕😕

And about the posts u missed, we were just bring some comic relief to our thread after heavy duty discussions which is sorely missing in the episodes!

@Swetha: So we shall meet the Major tomorrow again 😆. Lets hope for the best and support him!

Be back in a while

Hello Sush a very nice balanced take on the episode👏 coupled with equally beautiful collages⭐️.
Am responding after 20 pages so am sure will not add anything new but yet will try to put my two cents worth😛. Seems like our timing does not match so no wonder i never ventured here much😳

Coming to episode - Rudra was so in apt with his character. His anger did not go in hawa after the hug👍🏼 as i too was wondering that can a hug make anyone speechless😕😆 especially a person who is in such a grief and is shattered. But i will give it to the creatives for not butchering the character👏

Just FF the sumer part so will not respond on that part but the highlight of the show for sure was Mohini's grudge, hurt, insult. I guess this is common when you have one beautiful sibling. The pain was so visible on her face that her little sister did not deny rishta and that pain was then turned to insult when she had to marry the younger bro and become her sister's Devrani. So the elder daughter who had a say in everything at her house was now under her younger sister's say and that was something which she was not ready for. All these years she had just made peace with her mind knowing Mala will not return but her return brought back all the bad memories back.

All the senior actors did a great job in acting and creatives in all department. It is indeed one of its type show where people actually communicate😲 and its a change in Indian show that i am liking.😃

Will write something for Rudra's thought as he is too hurt today(Yesterday) when he said that Paro might follow Mala's footstep

chahat ka izhaar karne chala tha sab kuch bhoolake
Tabhi dard utha us poorane zakhmme kuch aise
Khud se bhi yakeen na raha is safar mein
Jaha saath choda aj parchayine bhi khudse😭

Dil aur dimag ki is jang mein fasa hu aise
kya ujale mein bhi chode saath parchayi apnose?😕

as always - most of the post here are awesome. They compliment the original one👏

@ Tenesaan - your post is like a poetry to read. Its impeccable and gives the true sense of the episode.👏 I do believe that no one should bring disability in pic. But then i guess this is a big debate. In my last visit to India i found that people were calling others like Kaniya (For the person who could see), thutha (For the person with one hand) and so on. So i guess its a norm there🤔 (And here we have a law we can not even call them handicap😲 we have to call them physically challenged person else can get detain in our jobs)

and MIL taunting DIl will garnish TRP as its east or west India is the Best

@ UltimateRudra -
An eye for eye will make the whole world blind but then no one also lends another cheek when they get slap on first one. Unfortunately we are living in the era where people do not like to forgive and forget but just remember the sour things. Sad but true😒

PS- the dialogue writer of this show need a special mention⭐️ today's dialogue of the day was
"Kaunsi cream lagati ho"😆 even i want to know that 🤣

Castle - yea it was uncomfortable for him wondering what they discussed.
yesterday was watching Season 3 of two and half men and Rose is telling charlie about oedipal complex and I go Rudraaa. Let me tell you, I got wierd looks 😳😳, and when she was explaining about the therapy I was just thinking how to implement on Rudra. She talks about intensive therapy for years but charlie only wants his mojo back 😆😆😆. So mama topic is definitely Mr.Pee pee wrecker

@JJ: Yea, Rudy boy will deliver- after all he has been a champ and so I hope

Sush is gonna wonder who hijacked her thread. There we were discussing serious stuff and suddenly 😆😆😆

And for the same woman too 😆 How sick!

Yeah the outfit sucked too 😳

Has Rudra even reached the genital stage? I think he may still be stuck in the latency stage...😆 The guy definitely needs therapy...no Paro is gonna cut it...in real life...

BTW nice picture...somebody needs to narrate that quote to Rudy boy 😉
