Yeah but still I don't understand mohini's fury as mala must have gotten married with her parents consent so how could she had say no to them? 28 years ago it must have been more conservative so I don't think this grudge holds any water, I could understand it if dilsher was mohini's boyfriend but all this enimosity for an arranged marriage is just stupid and illogical.

I actually get her spite -

There was a proposal of marriage for the elder daughter and the guy rejects her and states he preferred the younger one. Thats humiliating!!!

Mala was considered more beautiful (dont ask me why) and thats why she mocked saying you thought u were some prince cause Dilsher is ordinary!
Am sure this would have been hot gossip and reason for taunt in the family and friends circle.

And to add to that Mohini sees Mala as having humiliated her more by getting her married to the younger brother. So you have to live in the house seeing the guy who rejected you for being less beautiful and be the dewarani to your younger sister. In traditional house holds its a big deal.

Mala's gesture was with good intention but Mohini's way of seeing it is different. She expected her sister to refuse the proposal for her sister's honour sake. Its quit human if you ask me.

The only digestion related problem is the sister are at odds fighting for dilu sa!!
