Help can be a Hindrance

Hello beautiful people! Hope you're all doing well! 🤗
So, this is really befuddling me and I have a question.

Where is Mala's drive, determination and desire to want to know her son? Where is her motiviation to understand Paro? Where is her curiosity to get to know the entire situation? Will this be shown? Or will it be glossed over in a fast pace without any attention or recognition?

This is her SON, her blood and this is the daughter that she raised with so much love for 15 years. Where is a mother's love? I understand being timid, and fearful, I respect that to a degree as well- she shouldn't feel as if she's owed attention from either, but I still lack her having the drive to mend the bridge. I feel as if Mala's character will abuse the hospitality Paro exteneds to her by using Paro as a Crutch. Rudra will feel betrayed but Mala at the same time will let her linger in the middle by a fine thread because she will not step up to the plate and dive into the mess that has been left in her wake for the last 15 years, and nor will she be independent enough and leave to settle on her own. It's this odd cornucopia where the person getting the most abuse will be Paro at the end of the day. 🤔

Mala can possibily use Paro as an emotional crutch, cry to, talk to, but I just don't see the favour being returned- some would argue that her mothering Paro for the last 15 years has been enough but I disagree- a mother or father figure do not hold the right to lay hostage an individual's life- and that is what Paro is right now- hostage to the entire situation, even though she's willingly participated by accepting Dilsher's request, it is still her cross alone to bare.

Essentially, I am REALLY hoping that Paro doesn't have to be a facilitator in this whole thing, that is going to leave a sour taste in my mouth in terms of the respect or possible respect I could hold for Mala.

You love your son?
Prove it.

You missed him?
Prove it.

Don't just sit there. Don't just listen. Don't just cry.

DO SOMETHING. 15 years, you've had 15 years to think about this, and now that he's infront of you don't use his wife as a barrier or moderator. SPEAK UP. If HE is stubborn, YOU'RE his mother, so give it back to him, push back, fight for him. If not him AT LEAST fight for the oppertunity to lay yourself out there, to let whatever your truth is to come out.

I get it's a drama and that reality is not 100% important in this depiction but I do not want to see Paro's help become a hinderance because Mala doesn't know how to help herself 🤔

Finally a sensible post apart from the as usual toxic Paro bashing posts always float on the first page with same old broken record !!
A very logical write up ..
Mala is literally behaving like a zombie here I would say , I seriously like to see her trying to mend the relation ..
Paro is stuck in a big dilemma here. Poor girl :(
Rudra can't be able to forgive also , it's such an impasse Mala created for her son and foster daughter :(

I try to be sensible usually. Unless I'm being sarcastic 😆

Agreed, I guess she's in truama mode right now, but I still expect her to be a BIT more active than this, or a bit more engaged? It's odd that she's so unmotivated 🤔

Don't know is it the actress ?!?!
She comes across very bland or cvs written it that she should be bland and unmotivated :/

@SB: I don't think it's the actress, I think that's the way it's scripted for now...which is really making me wonder what they have in store for Mala later on.

When have you ever seen her do something Reeha?? I have always said, Mala is the weakest. I have no idea how her son and her pseudo-daughter turned out to be this strong.

Because, Mala, is not what you call strong.

Her sister influenced her. Her marriage wasn't good enough.. She left.

She tried getting her son back, once, maybe twice.. But that was it.

Fifteen years she spent in agony, I understand. But then, what did she do to alleviate that pain?

She was a Rani right? A Rani Thakurain... She had resources. Finding her son was THAT difficult? Nahi.

She was just weak. She just floated through her life. Never stepping up.

Aur uska kuch nahi kar sakte. She is like that only.

I really don't expect anything off of her.

Absolutely right! I don't know why I even bothered with hoping she'd step up to the plate...you're right- she has always been flaky and waif like in terms of her strength will and perseverance. It's an odd contradiction that two strong characters were both a big part of her life.

Now that you've mentioned this stuff I'm really wondering if I'm up for ever liking her or respecting her character- regardless of the past, it seems like her lack of action was a big part in ever mending any realationship. Ignorance is bliss I guess 🤔

Thank : objective Anlyse😉
Mala is caught between a rock and a hard place.
she left without her son for 15 years
primo: the first encounter with Rudra was a fiasco, He poured cumulative frustration for several years
secondo: she returns home in a hostile environment, hated by his sister in law, repudiated by the husband, and faces a boy who is still angry
thirdly not forgetting the abuse suffered by Tejawet
the girl must find these brands for to act...
that say about Paro? It's like the emissaries of United Nations Security saviors of lost causes
the outcome remains to be seen😊

Reeha, well said.. I was just ranting on the same on Diya di's post..

I respected her for being strong enough to get out of a bad marriage and even follow her heart if that was the case with Teju. She made her decisions and she lived it. Now why this self pity and expectation from Paro to solve everything for her. To the extent that Paro has to almost resort to falsehood to console her.. I feel this is another character going the Laila way. Laila was turned into the evil witch and Mala will be the spineless tear bag. Hope she takes a turn for the better in the coming days..😕

You're welcome for the analysis 😆

I do agree to some extent that she's caught in a difficult position, but it's still really odd:
- Her first encounter with her son is understandable, but even after then she's been in a daze where we haven't been able to see her interacting or thinking about Rudra OR paro. Like another person said in another thread, It's almost like she's in her own little bubble 😕

As for the rest, I do think coming home would be a shock to anyone, but she's still awefully silent, and hasn't attempted to even communicate with Paro, after all Paro has been through hell and high water, and she has "raised" and been "like a mother" to her for all these years...I don't know I think the CVs have failed to reiterate this maternal side that they've SAID to us, but haven't SHOWN us via actions that should have occured lately 🤔. Maybe that's just for now, but they'll show it down the line? Wishful thinking I guess! 😕

Paro, is defo a Saint, so I don't think a UN job is beyond her 😆
