I have a male friend who is a recovering alcoholic and yet happily attends social gatherings where the liquor just flows freely and is absolutely not bothered by it for as he puts what is the use of my recovery if I continue to live in fear of alcohol Denying /shunning / avoiding people places and situations where it is served means it still has power and sway over me and I will continue to live half a life with fear of its ability to weaken me always dogging me I loved his answer and have often used that when faced with my own fears
P.S. He is often the life of the party and is absolutely a fun loving chap which I found really admirable for he never let his addiction get him down or have a pity party of his own Rose above it and is now the better person

Paro has used that logic By driving Laila away you have only temporarily solved the problem and both will live warily with the thought of what if the next time something was to happen Easy to slip into bad habits rather than change and Laila has always been his comfort pillow for the last 8 years every single night Now if that is not an addiction then what is and it is never easy to give up any habit that is your emotional escape from life Rudra has to face his fears of Laila their relationship his own role in it by making a searching and fearless moral inventory of the last 8 years and making amendments for all said and done his ending was too abrupt and dismissive and only then his heart is set free to love without the burden and sickening need of the previous toxic relationship he had with Laila He will no longer then feel the need to use her as his escape the next time he is heading for some emotional downslide it will not become a revolving door of a relationship and he will have the ability to weather the storm without the need to pop a pill aka Laila She did not heal him just added fuel to the fire and thus by his personal actions will Laila also receive her much needed answer that he is not interested this is closure and she has to move on I just hope the writers don't mess it up I don't see sacrifice She was clear and even forced a smile to say that Laila was just a guest and although a gatecrasher in her life for now she will evict her when the time comes along with Rudra

For now just to move the track and story but yes Paro is different from all the other FL and got to give it to her she has shown spunk in not being afraid of Laila and human enough to feel and see her own insecurities in her equation with Rudra and I liked that bit about not serving him tea thank god she was not shown Mahaan the word everyone likes throwing at her here 😛

Lucky for me I was doing the WU and was in my own world and without checking a single post on the forum I made my own.. and as the caps took ages to be edited I somehow missed most of the cribbing posts except 2 unfortunate ones I came across.. n was seriously and unpleasantly surprised that someone could watch the same episode I did and put a negative spin on it!! 😲
