Wonderful post Sush!
Sanaya, Sanaya and Sanaya all the way and can she perform or what? She was fabulous.

The only way this relationship/ marriage will work as of now is if she walks out...I mean walking out on her own and not just handing over Rudra like a present to Laila. She is not his to give away or is he Laila's to steal. It has to be what Rudra wants? This is not Paro's test...she owes nothing to anyone...not anything to Laila neither anything to Rudra. The only person she owes something to is her. She owes her the happiness that she deserves, she deserves love and respect. Till now she was the one who has very aptly shouldered this relationship...she needs a break. It's Rudra's turn to prove his love and honesty now.

If he wants her...he needs to breakdown the barriers...he needs to breakdown the walls and make her trust him again. I might be against the flow here but to realize her worth, he needs to lose her first.

I want Paro to walk out because it's an insult for a woman to see her husband in the arms of another woman...standing like a pole while the other woman lectures on moths and fire. The last scene was cringeworthy, inappropriate and indecent.

PS: I will be very blunt and open about something here...from a professional point of view he actually falls in the category of a sex addict. That is exactly what an addict does...repeated sexual encounters without any commitment...a tendency to run away from reality and use sex as just pleasure and need. I never thought about this aspect before until his confession where he says...he went back to her every night for sex. That is someone who is an addict and he clearly mentioned to Paro that he doesn't want her staying in the house because apparently Laila is his addiction.

I don't know what the cvs are going with this but I have a growing feeling that Paro's character is being eased of because it's all about Laila now. She practically has 90% of the screen space.

Priyanka...when I was younger I used to paint...
There was a black and white painting I made once...which had many shades of grey...and white and black...

If one looked at that painting in pure white and pure black...the painting would have lost its effect...

Thinking of Rudra as a sex addict...paints the entire character as black...we lose all shades...

That's how it is with characters...Am I making sense?

Very well said sush...
Sorry to say but priyanka I do not think you understand the characters of rr... it is complex. Get happiness in something else you like.

Now now...Nema...lets not judge...
Sometimes what is said is just for expression of an emotion...right?

Priyanka...lets be a little careful about judging a character too harshly and choosing words carefully ...most people who are on the discussion boards LOVE the characters...so...it may offend their feelings...Right?

I am sure we can all share different views without being disagreeable...

you make absolute sense Sush...that is what I wanted to see...shades of grey in the lead characters. But unfortunately in RR it's either white or black. Paro is pure as white whereas Rudra black more so after today's dialogues. His dialogues were very disturbing...as I said keeping in mind to what he said and the nature of his relationship, sex was his need which has turned into addiction. Please Go through the scene once more and closely listen yo what he says...he says, do you now understand why I cannot have her in the same house...just the same way an alcoholic cannot have alcohol in the same vicinity. It's very easy to relapse. Here Rudra is trying to stay away from Laila because he knows she has a hold on him because it's his addiction.

I understand Nema...I was updating my earlier post already ...

Anyway...I am a strong believer of people being who they are not what they are perceived to be...by others...This applies to the characters ...as well...

Thats why...even when Rudy may characterize Laila as somebody not worth anything...that actually only says to Paro...it is his perception...but what is real...may be different ...

BTW...the CVs overdid it when they made him say ..he went to Laila EVERY night!!! 😆
Did you see SJs post about it? 😃

Priyanka...yes...I noticed the point you are making...he didn't say...I am done with her...he didn't say...there is nothing between us...he said I don't want her around because we have this relationship...that left the door wide open for interpretation...but I think it is a matter of incomplete communication...I don't doubt that Rudy is a good guy and he is in love with Paro...and he wants to make it right...he is sincere...

But they have to make a story...if everything is sorted out in one episode...they will have nothing left but the silly juvenile stuff...or laddoo or mirchi...let them tell their story...

Happiness? It's a very complex word too. I find my happiness in expressing my views the way I see it and ofcourse watching Sanaya's acting in Paro's characterization.

of course Sush... we all love and respect characters and we perceive it in certain ways. I did mention it was my professional pov based entirely on his dialogues today...I wouldn't use the word again because I understand that it might be sensitive. But I do realize that this is not a fairy tale lovestory...and this is a discussion board where views are expressed. I am entitled to mine.
