Okay now going by the latest segment. They're high possibility this could all be just a dream either Rudra or Paro dreams.
Lets not jump the guns and wait for the episode to air.

I agree with you.if he treated Laila like a prostitute, why go only to her? Why not others?
Or he left her in Jaipur like he said, why did he initiate intimacy when she came to birpur?
I feel he is justifying his action...like he said he just wanted to tell Paro before anyone.so as the tale does not get twisted ...he might not have any feelings for her, then he should not have stuck to her for 8 years.that itself is telling something.
That is the main reason,I feel sorry for Laila...and I don't know how Paro, can trust him at all from now on...let's see paro's perspective next week...

Paro has remembered the 8 vows no one can blame or even judge her if she compare her situation with Laila because she does love him as well and he told her many times he can never love her back. (That'as from her POV)
From our POV we knows Rudra have alot of feelings for Paro, he protects her & cares alot for her. He doesn't like it when others hurt her. He always take care of her when she's either sleep or blind folded even when he doesn't need to. He do it all because he cares.

He's a flamed human being and Paro will need time to understand ad to love and accept Rudra for who is.

He did not initiate contact. The first time, Laila tracked him down in the barracks, and he was wounded and getting drunk. The second time, he was badly wounded again, and she called him on his mobile, and he went there. Those were the last times he was with her. She knew everything about the capture of the bride interestingly enough. Later when he visited her,
Paro was sleeping on the floor in his blue kurta. Then he ate some food and complained about Paro, brushed off her advances and left. After Paro was masqueraded as his mangetar, he was never with Laila. So even when trust was not an issue at all between Rudra and Paro, at least not the fidelity kind, he never broke it. I do not see how Paro should not trust him. That she might draw parallels, that she might feel bad about Laila is a different issue. He never painted fairy stories for her, only nightmares. Come to think of it, his promised nightmares were something he did not deliver on, so yeah maybe, she should not! 😆Every time she rose above normal human behaviour, not being goody two shoes, but just good, every time she listened quietly, without pyaar jataana, she made cracks in the stone wall. Her tapasya of love was neither delusional nor dramatic but nurturing and subtle, like breaking in a wild horse.

While we are all feeling sorry for Laila, lets not forget that she intends and means bodily and emotional harm to Paro. As Paro astutely put it, she thinks Paro stole something from her. But the fact of the matter is it was Rudra who turned his back on her, when he really had no reason to, at least not for quite a long period between encountering Paro and actually getting engaged/ married to her. And even though he did not consider the shaadi real, he did not dishonour it. He did not tell Laila when he left Jaipur, he was done with her. Should he have? Hell yes. But he wanted to use her too, as a khabri perhaps, as an occasional lay, pardon the language. Rudra is a grey character. He is like that. But then he met Paro. And the rest, as they say, is history.

As far as Laila is concerned, how is destroying Paro going to get Rudra back? No matter how he is eith Paro, the fact remains that he chose her. And Paro asked him to marry her. Laila never did that... Out of fear or rejection perhaps? But then would Paro not have been equally scared? He married Paro. A shaadi was not the only means to get her to comply to either rebut the allegation of his ill treatment of her, or to testify against Tejawat, lets face it. And its not like he treated Paro well, not at all. But their relationship made more progress and saw more catastrophe in eight to ten weeks than eight years. As someone said, in the first Laila Rudra scene, Laila disparaged mere housekeeping and children in favour of "managing" Rudras purported passions and habits. So lets have no illusions there, she never envisioned a life with him other than this one dimensional, mostly drunk relationship.

Rudra though, has begun to see a life with Paro... Remembering his davai, asking her if she reached safely, advertising his wifes elaichi chai, joking with her even, an inside joke about jali hui sabji, buying bangles, stealing her earring, trolling her about her drunken ways... It was all very domesticated and some made fun of it, but it was very significant too. He is looking for a relationship. With a girl he has told a million times over he does not trust. Whom he tried to paint in the worst of colours, whom he treated so miserably, and failed utterly, only giving himself pain.

Laila deserves one thing though. She deserves to have Rudra admit to his relationship with her. And Rudra has done that. The ball is in Paros court, and she is unable to control the bounce, because it has hit her very hard. But heres the thing. Laila knew right away that Rudra never loved her, she could see him slipping through her fingers at the sangeet and the haldi scene. To come back now and pretend she is fighting the good fight to get him back is not fooling anyone. She attacked an innocent girl with intent to kill. She displayed her rage and scorn enough to push him away. She was spurned outright and she stormed out. Coming back now for this just does not work. She just played her biggest card. Her deck is done.
