Very happy with Rudra's disclosure about himself and how Laila came into his life. Loved Paro's assurance by holding his hand and telling him to complete his story, but at the end she is hurting and that too badly. There is no way to define this hurt, so many thoughts going thru her head. She is quiet, Rudra too feels her hurt and does not know how to reach out to her. He too remains quiet.
Sanaya was just brilliant. What a performance!!!

Very happy with how this was written and shown!! They won't disappoint us on Monday!!

Loved your post Diya!! 👏

Lovely recap, diya.

And to those who are wondering about Rudras lack of reaction?!

He thought it was
Paro caressing his hair. He felt so relieved! And then it was Laila. As he pushed her away, he also felt so devastated that it was mot
Paro, he closed his eyes in a moment of weakness. Bas! And her words of love pierce him, but he is thinking of
Paro, and why she did not come. But lets see how the conversation goes on ?monday... There is a new promo out for may 16 showing flashbacks and then the last few seconds is the present.. Rudra in that grey lavender number saying fark padta hai paro... I cannot see you in pain.

This is what I thought as well - that he was thinking of Paro - when Laila says she sees love on his face he realizes its love for Paro and is too stunned by the realization to immediately react. Lets see what happens on Monday. No confusion from Rudra. The first thing he did was push Laila away.

Keeping Laila and Mohini in mute, the episode is excellent. One thing I don't like in RR is showing too much of cruelty. While Thakur's is still ok considering that he is a traitor, the cruelty inside the haveli is bit too much. There is no justification for Mohini staying in the haveli now.
Coming back to the episode, Sanaya and Ashish both were excellent. Sanaya is as usual and this time Ashish was not loud. I like this confrontation because it is an eye opener for both Paro and Rudra. Paro kept on thinking that one day he will fall in love with her. But now her grounds of belief are shaking. And Rudra doesn't know why is he telling/justifying.

The best part is this is not a MU. Rudra had relation with Laila, Rudra saw Paro seeing him with Laila. So no question of MU.

awesome post as always...m loving all the posts and reactions after confession episode...
well this is the first time we have got a detailed view of why is rudra the way he is... the amount of darkness inside him... he decided to open his heart out in front of paro which certainly shows our rudra has finally let the guard down and taken the first step... he respects paro and his relation and dosent want anything to be hidden btween them...have to say loved the scene a lot... the agony rudra faced while conveying totaly reached me

paro was silent throughout the talk... she recieved the shock of her life.. her rudra is not as pure as she thought him to be... there is a hidden demon inside him which needs to be tamed... her action was toatly justified... but wouldve loved if instead of the silent treatment she would say something to him...

i think this will eventually bring parud even closer and strengthen their bond... laila can rejoice but her joy is going to be shortlived.. this was important for rudra to realise how much he needs paro in his life and how much she actually means to him... the fact that he has been ignoring all along...

as far as laila is concerned seriously i just fast forward her scenes... they are too much for me to handle...
suddenly after seeing her my respect for mohini as vamp has reached new heights 😆

Firstly I think that reaction from Rudra is needed to seal Paro's heart break. She comes back to get him, but is jolted further. The CVs do not want a sacrifice track where Rudra goes back to hating beautiful women. So paro's heart break will lay the foundation for Rudra's journey to win her back by confessing his love for her.
Rudra is probably feeling guilty for what he did with Laila. Especially in light of Paro questioning the 8 year relationship without love. Maybe that explains his silence in the precap. Let's us wait and see.

A few quick comments from me, as I'm rushed for time today.

@bold ... when Laila was talking about love, Rudra was thinking about her words ... her words were hitting him hard ... but about PARO. Hence the confusion, the daze, the lack of reaction. He knows Paro loves him ... but he has never ever explored his own feelings for her, or even tried to.

Also this was the Friday cliffhanger ... they have to hold his reaction off until Monday for viewers to tune in ...

But the scene was prolonged too much and the lack of reaction to Laila's hug made it look like he was welcoming it ... hence the reaction across the forum.

And his silence in the precap ... I agree with Anisha .. he's not bothered about what Laila is saying ... he's only watching for Paro's reaction. She claimed she loved him ... will she still love him now ... when he has exposed his worst side to her?
But he might be expecting a bit too much ... because Paro is also looking for something from him ... her belief in him has been shattered, she needs something to go on now, to give her strength. One sign from him will be enough. And as a woman, she will feel some sympathy for Laila too.

Like you, Laila's joyous reactions makes me also feel it will not last long... I want Paro to be like this to Rudra but want to show her wifely rights in front of Laila and not be in the sacrificing mode😊

I was very happy with Paro's reaction too ... this is what I wanted. Re her reaction to Laila ... I don't want her to be in the sacrificing mode ... but as a woman in love, and a woman who is always empathetic to the feelings of others, she will show some sympathy to Laila's plight ... though hopefully not to the point of sacrificing Rudra to Laila. To show her wifely rights, she needs some sign from Rudra ... and Rudra standing still while Laila clings to him like a limpet is NOT it 😡

Haven't seen such dark intensity before...my heart hurts for Paro. Her reaction when she couldn't comprehend the difference between love and need, her heart break and loss of innocence was too numbing for me. 😭
Her confidence, her self worth, her faith has taken a big beating today.
The one thing that torments her is if Rudra can be In a loveless need based relationship for 8 years, where does that leave her in this one sided marriage?
Will come back with more thoughts.

The episode was fantastic .. despite the overdose of Laila. The PaRud confession scene was amazing ... and Paro's breakdown was mind numbing. The loss of Innocence ... the shattering of dreams ... Sanaya portrayed all that and more so beautifully ... I watched the repeat at 12 and again at 2 am, and felt a lump in my throat every single time.
And the Parud scene in the bedroom when she helps him wipe his hair, because of his paralysed arm ... keeping her face averted ... while he stares at her all the time, hoping to see her soften, to hear her say something, anything ... that scene was fabulous.

@bold ... exactly ... if Rudra can be with a woman willingly for eight years without emotions, and can walk away without a second thought ... then what commitment does he have to this marriage, which he was forced into only for his job?

My heart broke for Paro today ... and I felt bad for Rudra too. Time for him to stop running away from his feelings for Paro, and face up to them.

Great take, Dia. I am glad you are back to posting your takes at IF.

If there was an award for hamming, Ankita would have won it hands down. Compared to a smooth operator version of Ananya, it is all the more stark. Reminds me of those 70-80s movies where the evil saas would contort her face every way possible.

That apart, quite liked the episode... specifically the confession scene. I think both will need time to process the feelings. Thankfully, Paro was not all the forgiving kind... by simply brushing it off.

The last scene seemed contrived for the drama. Although I must say, Rudra's expressions sent out mixed signals at both the TFC/wrist-holding scenes earlier with Laila. Specifically the latter. The 'eye-lock' in the latter did make one wonder if he is over Laila or not? I agree with Zee here.

And do these couples have privacy or not? First, Laila has free access to Paro-Rudra room. And today, she was sitting on the sill waving at Mohini. UGH!!

About the precap, Paro's questioning look at Rudra's silence seems to be a deal-breaker for her. Let's see how it plays out.

Ri, am going on a break for three weeks ... no more takes, or only as often as I can make them 😛

Ankita was BAD ... it shows so glaringly in the scenes with Ananya, who can portray villainy with a lift of her eyebrow .. Ankita pouts her lips, wiggles her eyebrows, tosses her head, jerks her shoulders ... the director really needs to tell her to tone down, she's trying too hard and it shows.

I did not expect Paro to forgive Rudra ... forgive is the wrong word here, I think ... Rudra's relationship with Laila happened when he was at his darkest ... before she entered his life ... so he didn't wrong Paro.

But the bigger issue for Paro is ... is it really over between him and Laila? Does he feel anything at all for Laila? Did he ever feel anything for her ... despite his saying he didn't, he was with Laila for eight years, which is a long time ... he never says he feels anything for Paro either, yet she can feel his care for her ... is it the same with Laila? And in that case, is she the interloper here? That last scene left a lot open to interpretation ... whether it was meant that way or it was just a cliff hanger for Monday, remains to be seen.

So lots of things for Paro to mull over and think about ... she is deeply affected by this revelation of Rudra's, and it will take her some time to come to terms with it. And that will give time for Rudra to realise her importance in his life, and to convince her of it.

Diya, beautiful post. It was an emotional episode. Loved how they showed Rudra slowly explain about him and his demons to Paro before he came to the main point. Now she knows why he did what he did, which is really a good sign. I love the directness of Paro and Rudra. It is always a treat to watch them converse.

For me both Paro and Rudra are totally in their characters and I loved watching them. Paro reacted exactly as I hoped she would. Rudra' holding her hand, as if reassuring himself that she is still there. Gathering strength from her to tell her the darkest truth of his life. That one gesture spoke volumes. Loved it. And Paro's breakdown... my heart ached seeing her shed silent tears. Even in all that chaos she doesn't show Rudra her hurt. She hides her tears from him... She is truly beautiful and strong, isn't she?

Only scene that didn't sit well with me was the last hug wala scene. No reaction from Rudra when fevicol lady hugged him, disappointed me. That was not the Rudra I know. He was confused and lost... I totally get it. OK, he might have been in a haze too. But to me it looked like he exactly knew what was happening. I agree CV's have to have that scene for Paro to feel more insecure and Rudra pushing Laila away will not serve that purpose... But just small things like a little disgust on his face or minor change in his body language could have done wonders. That would have still yeilded the same result they wanted from the scene and at the same time without compromising our Rudra's character. I wish the CV's take extra care in future when shooting or showing such scenes.

And ... since Laila is so sure that Paro will swallow her story, that makes me very sure that Paro will NOT. But what will Paro do?

Ya, Paro is a strong women. She might be innocent but definitely not dumb.

Third - Ankita, the actress is TERRIBLE.

I totally agree with you. I can't take Laila anymore. I really wish CV's end this track or her role in this track soon.

Sanaya. was fantastic today. 👏 No words...

Thanks Hope, and lovely take from you!!! 👏 The best thing about Rudra and Paro, the one thing which makes them unique, is their communication ... and the cvs and the actors didn't disappoint us today in this crucial scene. Both Sanaya and Ashish were fantastic in that scene.

I'm so glad Rudra took Paro away from the haveli, so they could talk undisturbed by the chudail 🤢

And that Paro saw for herself, the place Rudra spent his childhood, the deserted, abandoned place ... which gave her an insight into the deserted abandoned child he was ...

Paro's breakdown ... her loss of innocence ... her shattered dreams ... her hopes crumbling to pieces ... Sanaya was simply awesome today!!! 😭👏

But Paro is strong ... she is innocent, hence she is constantly underestimated by the villains of the show ... and by some viewers 😛 ... but she is not dumb ... I very much doubt she will fall for Laila's sob story ... even more doubt because Laila is so confident that she can fool Paro. The cvs put that dialogue there for a purpose. 😆 So I'm really looking forward to how she deals with Laila ... and with Rudra of course.

The last scene has thrown many people off ... I will reserve comment till Monday. At best, it was just a cliffhanger ... at worst, Rudra is confused and guilty about Laila ... which will make things worse between him and Paro to begin with.
