Can Laila act?

This is the first time im watching Ankila act in any serial. I am sure she has fans from her previous shows which I have not seen. But was she any good in those? So coming back to this woman...can she act? I hvnt seen her performance before...but as Laila she sucks! she acts less and does body jhatkas more. and wots with the constant "manne maaf karna" all her dialogues start with these words...so repetitive and irritating. i knw she cant be blamed for dialogue writing.

Anyways...as a villian she isnt very good in my opinion. She was good initially when she used to get angry, she did that well...she gave proper tashan to Rudra's anger, not succeeding in any way but good effort from her character to that of Rudra...but now these antics feels put up. zabardasti karwa rahe hai...Plus the fact that Mausam aunty effortlessly sails spitting venom without body twitching dsnt do Laila any good.

I just had to get it out to find out if im being too harsh on the actor or if some one else feels the same as well.

I totally agree...well I am not an acting teacher to teach anyone,...but as a audience,...her over doing of expression and weirdly sweet tones irritates me to no end...almost forces me to switch my channel and come back when she is off my screen

at the moment it feels like shes the only one who cannot act in the serial...even Samrat does justice to whatever is being given to him. I just hope she picks up soon. Harr track ka potential khataam hue jaa raha hai.

actually she was quite good in the beginning of the show , her intro , and the short scenes she and rudra had some spark , her expressions and acting was good now she is trying to be too obviously vampish .

maybe she took inspiration from ekta kapoor serials ke vamps 😆

She needs to work on her acting... She tries too hard.

Her expressions are too profound.

I agree with you. Ankita isn't impressive as Laila at all and I am sorry to say this, but I think she has been miscast in this role. She did a fairly decent job in the first 2-3 episodes and she was alright in that haldi confrontation scene. But overall she is very weak.

With such a powerful ensemble cast, her act as Laila falls short. All the supporting actors in the show are better than her, even the Lady who played Geetanjali ( Singh's wife) was better.
