A word of warning to Kaaki sa - please re-weigh all the masalas you have had your workers powder today... You are definitely missing some mirchi.

Today Laila made me nostalgic. Seeing her expressions reminded me of Lalita Pawar. Haven't seen such attempted expressions to look mean since her.

Good ones baisa!!!...especially the Lalita Pawar comparison😆 Even LP would be found wanting in her expressions seeing Laila...

Laila is either attempting to look evil by twitching her face too much or over doing the "ohh am reformed" act... the problem I have is with the acting!
As for the track.. I dont have a problem... my sense is that its to light the CFL bulb of love in Rudra that Laila has been brought in.

Ever since her entry... Rudra in an attempt to keep her at bay is moving unconsciously towards Paro. Before she came.. he was always yelling and trying to scare her away!

Yes I hate the annoying face expressions 😆 I see, unfortunately I personally believe the character of Laila just does not fit in RR anymore 😔 And the terrible acting is not helping matters 🥱

The track is just so contrived I can't bring myself to enjoy it, despite Rudra coming closer to Paro.

Laila yeah Laila.. kaisi yeah Laila... aate hi Babloo and uske bhai sa ki dharam- veer jodi main daraar daal di. Today Vibheeshan called on Ravan... he said bhai sa tho kuch bhi kahate hai. Kaako sa... 500 packets of agarbhati mandhir- mandhir ja ke jalaane ki mehanat tum kya samjho ge.

Whats I like is that both Kaaki sa and Laila bai sa don't spend a lot on items to be used in their plots. While Kaaki sa still makes a few purchases, Laila always uses items that are readily available at home- dagger, Haldi, mirchi! She knows how to utilise resources.

A word of warning to Kaaki sa - please re-weigh all the masalas you have had your workers powder today... You are definitely missing some mirchi.

Others thoughts -

Today Laila made me nostalgic. Seeing her expressions reminded me of Lalita Pawar. Haven't seen such attempted expressions to look mean since her.

Paro being happy at seeing Rudra smile is believable, but Paro breaking into a choreographed dance with Hitler Kaaki watching is not easy to digest. And to top that what causes severe indigestion is seeing Maithali encourage her and giggling along.
I seriously suspect Kaaki was wearing Mr. India's watch in that scene.

Laila is too beaten to be moved out of the haveli, yet she has all the energy to dance. This is the power of recession... everyone is trying to hold on to their jobs and ensuring no one snatches their position away.

GH... somebody's gonna get hurt real bad when Adi Chopra comes back from his honeymoon. This time you went closer home...
And I am still decided whether the now look for Paro is inspired from Gandhari (Mahabharat) or the new campaign for Cataract operation.

Hey Jules Banna 🤗 Laila may not be the forum's favourite character but I am quite enjoying this track... the PH had said at the onset that the fizz of a serial dies the moment the lead fall in love.. therefore, they are trying to keep them apart as much as possible with a few crumbs of romance thrown here to satiate the appetite of the audience.. 😆

the girl playing Laila is pretty.. obviously she is not one to be like because she is portrayed as the spoke between R & P.. that's the best form of compliment she could get..

Its about time KCM checked her masala.. to me they seemed like holi colours being grounded and one was even pounding what seemed to me like Talcum Powder 😆

the tilak scene was oh so cute.. SI looked very endearing today ...

Well I am looking forward for the full version of the promo to be aired to see Paro's reaction... for all I know Paro may well take us all by surprise by saying past is past, let's bury the hatchet and move on 🤣

I may be in the minority if I say I am liking the current plot.. Not sure why the Jaipur trip was nice but it was nothing extra ordinary.. not sure why though..

Till next time.. ciao

Sorry for butting in... @bold: that is natural and expected; precisely the reason why I was surprised Paro proclaimed her undying love for Rudra so soon! There was a lot of room for exploring Paro's feelings, reminiscing the past and trying to learn more about Tejawat and his wife (sorry forget what Pato calls her)... Instead we get to see the same old "doosri aurat" track! How is it different? There was so much potential that went untapped!

Jules, nice post; loved the Lalita Pawar bit. Thank you for reminding of her! 😛

La 🤗 Long time no see!!!!

I agree about the holi colour... I feel the makers have been compensating for months now for now giving a holi episode!!

I dont mind the track... except Laila's fake coyness and repentance always leaves a bad taste in my mouth... I know she is putting it on... yet the way the actress does it looks like bad acting!!

And yeah if the leads fall in love too soon... the fizz is lost and then some forced hate or separation track has to be brought in!!!

Thanks!

And feel free to butt in 😉

Thakur cannot be caught and punished so soon which is why they got his truth out and sent him on a longish break! His track will resurface when the mommy issues are being dealt with!

The center of Rudra's problem is his mom and her betrayal and I think that the high point of the show's story. So its too soon to deal with that! Especially because I feel a lot of ends are tied to that story. I am confident that kaaki has something to do with her leaving.;... Kaako sa broke his brother's trust by secretly being in touch with her!!!

Rudra inspite of having a troubled past needs to fall in love with Paro.. what noone could do that is help him live despite his past must happen first before the issues of the past are resolved and reconciliation betweem mother and son happen!

And in their current set up am sure Rudra was gonna always be snappy! I guess laila would be a way for him to draw comparison between the two woman and understand the selfless nature of Paro's love in contrast to the possessiveness of Laila's love.

Thats my take!

Hey la
Hugs :-)
I liked the laila track too initially , she has reasons to be angry no doubt
I personally think for a informer who life is in danger because of that she is treated very badly
She is rudely asked to leave with the drop of a hat
But issue is the story itself is so unidirectionally written that we can't help but be annoyed , the makers made her black not grey
What annoys me more is paro and the rest of the family is playing gandhari
Pretending to be blind to whatever is going on ,whether it is multiple murders , mohini or laila for once the symbolism is perfect
