I am a silent member of the forum, but I want to tell that while I find Ashish quite a good actor he tends to go Over the Top and overboard in his emotional scenes. Director is partly at fault too as he doesn't seem to be able to get the actor to control it. But Ashish seems to do theater acting on TV where subtle acting is more needed. He doesn't look natural when he cries.

His first emotional scene was pretty awesome. That mirror break down. But the next scenes increasingly became the same and actually he needs to tone it down and give some more natural acting. And I saw quite a lot of members who shared this view.

So my question is that - is Ashish going OTT in emotional scenes while in other scenes like when he romances with Paro or talks to his father he is pretty awesome!

Yah he goes overboard in them. His voice modulation and stuff also doesn't suit tv that much in such scenes. But love him when he is in total hot major mood without unnecessary crying.

Not at all. I felt that scene was the best part of today's episode.. Its those scenes which fulfill the drama that was promised in rangrasiya.. I don't generally like emotional scenes but in this story, it's a vital part.. Ashish was only doing what was needed.. But for that emotional side, Rudra would have seemed too obnoxious..
Speaking of that it seems a bit unfair that such scenes are given only to rudra, paro deserves a better characterization.
