Every night at 9.30, I watch a half hour movie...

Watch it for half hour...live it through d night...think about it in d morning...imagine n remember cute instances through the afternoon...and...wait to watch it again in the evening...

This is my routine...

Sometimes I wonder why I have got so addicted and influenced by this show...am I being stupid?...maybe...

But we agree that Rangrasiya is something so different!!

Its so raw...fresh...new...bright...I could go on...

Many a times I think that as viewers, we tend to understand and build the image of the characters much more than what the makers wanted to show...the characters influence our lives in a way that maybe the actors too cant understand...

'Parvati'...'Paro'...the soft, small, nave Indian girl...who falls in love with her husband's killer.

She is brilliant, selfless, graceful and strong...

In spite of Rudra not accepting her completely, she has surrendered herself completely...no questions...no thinking twice...

The most important part of this character is how she is Rudra's mirror...all the emotions that he is scared of admitting, she openly reflects it to him...

I don't know how many of you will believe me, but I'm seriously at a loss of words for describing Paro...

There is only one person who can do a better job portraying this character, and that is Sanaya herself...if there is any competition, its with herself...no one else is in her league...

'Rudra'...I love this character...it is dark, complex, layered, troubled, strong, vulnerable, yet simple.

He falls in love with Paro the first time he sees her...

I can only imagine what he would be going through when is does something that he had taught himself to never do...love...

But, Rudra, I can assure you, no one loves anyone the way you love Paro...

At present he is in a small dark room...one by one, the windows will open, and brighten his life...

I love the way his life revolves around Paro...if its hatred...worry...care...love...or need...

And what can I say about Ashish?!

You are brilliant, amazingly talented...each movement is so natural and perfect...each expression hits the heart straight...

There is NO ONE who could ever play this character except for you...

So when v have Sanaya n Ashish as lead, well the 'entertainment buds' in the brain dance everyday...

I wish I could write about each character, but then this would get too long...

But special mention of all the beautiful people who work so hard behind the screen to give us the best music, sets, locations, action, colours, dialogues and everything that makes RR...also, Kakosaa (you're so cool!), Aman (you're amazing man!), Maithili (you're so sweet!), Kakisaa (cant imagine RR without you!) and my favorite Babusaa (you're the support and push behind both Rudra and Paro)...

So this is Rangrasiya...the half hour movie...

At first it was 'bas aisehi'...then it was 'aadat'...then it became 'khoobsurat nasha'...and now it is 'pyaar'...

"aur jyaada waqt bhi nahi laga..."

I love Rangrasiya...THE milestone of Indian Television...

Nice post. Very true how the show takes over our mind... while working, resting... Suddenly I smiled today thinking of Paro and how happy she felt that the Major cared for her, and the Major blushing too.
Hats of to the makers of the show. They have taken TV serials to another level altogether.
