Finally Rudra dev awakens

Plenty of melodrama in the episode otherwise, but the scene that stood out to me was the one where Paro is walking into the hospital room and Rudra sees her...and then the way he says her name...or rather hums it out...Paro...Paro...and then in just a few short words communicates so much...the first Paro is for seeing her...the second Paro is when he notices her injured feet...then it's a questioning "Paro?"...and then..."pair...chot...doctor"...

His last word before he fainted was her name...and he woke up chanting her name too...beautiful touch on that today...and then when he sees her injured feet, his instant concern for her...wanting her to get her feet bandaged by the doctor...and when she doesn't listen to him, he tries his "I mean business" version of saying her name😆...so again..."Paro...doctor".

I found this scene really nice today.

And I found Rudra's dialogues in the second RP scene quite interesting too...most notably the bit where he again repeats that she shouldn't think that she knows him or that she can CONTROL him...Ofcourse Paro will tackle him with serenity and zidd in response to his ziddi anger...but Rudra has a point when he says this to her...don't think you really know me...and even as Paro gives him a full on lecture on not letting his past cage him, I couldn't help but think that she still doesn't know the extent of Mala's betrayal and the effect it can have on a psyche...Paro's dealt with losses, no doubt...terrible losses...but those losses had a FINALITY to them...While Rudra's entire life has been one of incomplete relationships, unanswered questions...all compensated only with bitterness in return...and that requires more understanding than a general lecture on moving on in life.

I do love your post! I do believe rudra haas already given into paro, but it will take time for him to understand exactly what paro means to him, he will get der slowly but surely! I loved da hospital scene to! It was nicely done, how his first word is paro an his last word was paro before he fainted!

Yeah those scenes were really beautiful...and even when she peeps from the door...so innocently happy she looks 😳 and surges forward to meet him...but then she remembers her vow, and halts 😕 Rudra has just her name on his lips...his last conscious thought was also of hers only and the first waking word also is her name...its like as if she has become his every thing...and then it didnt take long for the rudravatar to come back...he was his grumpy self once he realizes he has not fully recovered 😔

Areyaar, your analyses are frighteningly incisive and accurate. I too liked Rudras "Paro!"s and their part in the scenes, and the feelings behind each one. And how can a poisoning victims voice sound so sultry straight from the beyond?
I agree completely about the lack of closure of Rudras story and the complete closure of Paros. However, she is not entirely inaccurate about what he must do about his grief and sadness. The solution, although varying in degree of difficulty, is ultimately the same... To let go of the past and give yourself a chance.

How ironic that the child Paro was taken under the maamisas and then later the thakurayains eing and taught healing stories, legends and initiated into the deep devotion to Bholenaath, while Rudra watched his father pickle himself in grief and alcohol and pickle himin that emotional poison. The very one who wounded him irrevocably was healing Paro with her love and kindness.

The Maala story is not over, not by a long shot. I hope and pray that the cvs give it a chance to attain the brilliance that I believe it is capable of!

Yeah he saw her in that bit...and the connection was very well shown...bg music was apt too.

Yes, Rudra just has her name on his lips...would have been a good time for Paro to ask him why he was calling out for her but she is too preoccupied with detective-giri and remembering her vow to Bholenaath😆

If his Rudra avatar didn't come back, he wouldn't really BE Rudra, would he? :-) I like how they balanced both sides of his personality today...the instant concern one for Paro and then later on the grouchy version when Paro is trying to help him in the hospital.

I always find it amusing...he doesn't want any questions asked when he's trying to take care of her...but if she tries to take care of him, he's like what makes you think I'll listen to you? You think you can control me? lol

Rudra has a serious aversion to attachments cuz of his insecurities...so he terms it control and shuns it.

Thanks, Oldestfan :-)

@bold: lol I asked myself the same while watching the epi...what a tone he brings to his voice...I get goosebumps listening to it...in some cases, it's all that stays with me in an epi...and today if nothing else, I'll remember the way he took her name...something so raw and earthy about it.

I agree that Paro's thoughts on getting closure from your past are not entirely inaccurate...ultimately that is indeed what Rudra will have to do...not let his past be detrimental to his present and the chance to open his heart to trust and love.

But at the same time, the Mala issue is more complex and I would want for Paro to get that info before going on with more lectures...in that sense I start to identify with Rudra's "Don't act like you really know me" line cuz honestly she really DOESN'T and is still going about telling him how to get out of this funk he is in.

Yes it's very ironic indeed that despite her losses, Paro got a wonderful upbringing from the same woman who is responsible for Rudra being left with nothing but a bitter/angry father raising him to be the man he's become.

I also hope the writers let the Mala arc live up to potential otherwise this will all end up becoming very superficial with a quick lecture from Paro here and Rudra magically forgetting his past.

Anu- i've just seen the episode ek baar- so when I see ek baar phir- then maybe I will come back with a SANER reply- if I am capable of that anyways! Abhi tubelight jali nahi! And not nitpicking- but end waala bhaashan- especially ab aap apni madad khud kijiye- all those implications- a little meta meta meta- so i went a little blurb blurb blurb!
Thoda doob gayi - too much emosuns for me!
And this Pandit Man! Kya blackmailing den ka kingpin hai yeh? peeche hi pad gaya- sacrifice do- vardaan lo?!! Nahi toh phooto!
Acha- will come back in a while- need some brain excersice- sorry for doing bakwaas on your thread!

Thanks :-)

Was Rudra really in a coma? I thought he was just unconscious...Dilsher's was the magical coma that got cured with palak paneer and one foot tapasya...truly amazing miracles we see on TV.

Don't see Rudra getting any answers this week...maybe next week...let's see.

nice post :-)

dialogues were good today , it didnot sound so much like she is giving a lecture , it is generally worse

but i agree with areyaar , the biterness is not cos an incident , it is also to do with his bring up
i think rudra's lack of trust as such i think is also to do with his father , as much his mother
it was bad that she left it , even sadder dilsher kept filling more bitterness into him
i loved dilsher in both the roles , man fighting his demons failing to rise , and the father who is guilty seeing what he has done to his son when he saw rudra treat paro badly
