Firstly, i would like to mention how the direction and editing both of these were extremely poor.
Today's episode saw a major high point, but alas, it failed to create any kind of impact. With loads of expectations from the spoilers and the tweets by ST, we looked forward to it, and certainly left disappointed.
I get it that as Rudra has eaten the poisoned laddoo, he won't be much in action, justified. But then the characters in action were more than ridiculous. Firstly, they did not let Paro's emotions or her inner conflicts to play out. This is the nth time in the show that Paro's recation after a major blow related to her life has been easily skipped, and they restricted her into a random person like other members of the family.
When i had read the spoilers that how Rudra will be in hospital and paro will pray for him and all, i had set a notion in my mind that we would get some scenes, where she cries her heart out. Comeon, the man whom she claims is her life is fighting death, and all she reacts is that she needs to find out who was responsible for the laddo fiasco ? Really CVs ? that would be the last thing Paro should have thought. During the hate marriage also, Paro's reactions were given a miss given she wanted the marriage and now, when we expected some logical reaction from her character it went completely missing. How can we audience feel for paro, or sympathesize when her emotions are not even shown.
The scene when she caresses Rudra's throat, for once i had thought that this is the scene, I waited for, Paro will cry her heart out, the immense passion for Rudra, the heartbreak to see him in this state, the shattered feeling, it will be visible. But no, what a blunder, all CVs made her do is that boast about how this is a sign of Rudra being her lord shiv and how she is remembering the shiv mythology even at this point .
CVs, in real world it does not happen this way, do we ignore and move over our sentiments so easily and just keep connecting dots of history to relate to our life ?
Secondly, if skipping Paro's expected reactions were not less, all CVs could think of her was doing the jasoosi ? which wife would be in a state of this ? atleast not immediately, yes she can definitely detect for the poisoning fiasco, but this was not certainly the right time. Instead of bothering about how will Rudra gain consciousness, the ladies were more busy about the detection of the iron powder, and Danveer , all he does is signs papers and goes back to his home. Is it like none of the fam members actually care for Rudra and doing some formalities, it really seemed like that. Plus, how come Dilsher has still not shown up ? his son is in death bed, and nobody bothers to inform him and instead busy with their jasoosi ? This is not the same Rangrasiya i had loved as a show.
Then comes the constant forcing and shoving down of the shiv mythology. I dont intend to hurt the religious sentiments, but CVs everything has a limit, and all the constant chant by Paro about the shivji and parvati ji mythology had become monotonous, annoying and at this point looks so forced and for the sake of it. Her character is restricted to recite the mythology or what ? If paro is all about Rudra, then please show that in her actions and not in the dialogues only. And the worst will be now how again another prarthna for Shivji will make her leave Rudra . This is character assasination, Paro was never like this, she is the lady who just two days ago told him that no matter how much he hurts her, she will never leave him, at any cost, and today there will be an excuse of this lame sacrifice and she leaves him ?
Coming to Mohini and Sumer, are these people only used as props to induce a Rudra dev tandav, or are they just like this ? Mohini wanted to kill paro to hurt Rudra, but now she is happily attempting to kill Rudra ? is it like she is given an option between the two, and she can choose ?
Sumer, today atleast he gave one logical dialogue out of all the characters that once Rudra gets up, he will do a tandav and that scares him. But if that scares him, then why is he supporting his mother in such henious crimes ?
Lastly, the editing was so poor. The scene when Rudra collapses and paro watched and reacts, it happened in 2 secs, i did not even understand that Paro actually saw him and reacted . Later, in the hospital, when she gets flashback of the laddoo scene, Rudra eats the laddo instead of feeding her, i did not even understand that what she was thinking there. first i thought that she realised that Rudra ate the laddoo deliberately, later it came out as no that was not the case and she was just having random thoughts about how she was deprived of the prasad.đ
will wait and watch for Rudra to get up and react to all the dramas of laddoos, neelkanth, Paro's tyag. hopefully that can save my sanity for this track atleast.
PS:- I am sorry for the rant, it was needed as i love the show and the show is restricted to some illogical drama now. If ST's tweet of raw passion and love meant paro leaving Rudra and Rudra left heartbroken with the khoobsurat auraat theory intact in his mind, then all i can say is that ST please just inactivate your twitter account. Why give us hopes when it had to be crashed like this ?
