@Naps, what he has done today would bring any girl down to earth from da high pedestal she has put rudra on. This situation may get her to see him in a not so good light! Cause what he did today was da meanest ting ever!

Thanks Jaz. 😊 Glad you liked it.
And agree that now he'll fall off the pedestal Paro had put him on. The point to ponder is whether that was the desired effect or whether it was a side-effect that he didn't care much about.

But I think what made the proposal dirty and filthy is buying Sumer with money. I don't know why CVs couldn't avoid that. I mean Sumer is interested in Paro from the beginning .. they could have shown Sumer consenting to marriage because of his interest (be it love or whatever) for Paro...

But the way the man (Rudra) showed his strength over woman (with wealth) wasn't digestible for me!

Of course, this goes without saying that the twist was absolutely breathtaking!

Agree with you here, Monica ... offering Sumer money to marry Paro was not digestible for me either. He fell very very low in my esteem today ... this was filthy. The cvs have to think very long and very hard to redeem this behaviour of Rudra ... he is not God to play with Paro's life this way ... even though she has elevated him to the status of one.

And he seems to have forgotten completely that she is a state witness now ... or rather, the cvs have forgotten that. He has no right to command her to marry anyone ... first he was forcing her to marry him, now to marry Sumer ... I am not happy with Rudra at all.

Thank you for saying that. I wanted to do him bodily harm.today. Women aren't chattel . I hope she tells him off in only the way she can.

Habs,

Don't take it out on Rudy boy.Paro knows very well that the game is between the two of them. And offering money to Sumair- Was just to shut him and KCM. Don't read too much into it. Rudy just wanted put Paro in a tight spot. I do not think it is for clearing the God image or to make Paro hate him. We have not yet reached that level in the relationship. That will happen when Rudy realises he is in love and wants to resist it.

Yesterday she called his bluff about bodily throwing her out. So he wants to call her bluff on her ready to do anything for the Maafi. It is as simple as that. Nothing to do with Bapusa or the attack on him - as he said in the bedroom.

I could think of a few possible answers. Before tonight's episode can we make this list complete and see whether we get the answer as one of the choices

  1. Yes with a condition that it will happen after Bapusa becomes okay ?
  2. Yes. Will do anything to get a Maafi from you
  3. Yes. If you will marry Laila
  4. No. How can you be back to Jallad ?
  5. No. To hell with your Maafi. And I am not leaving this haveli.
  6. No. I have a counter proposal. You marry me and I will leave the haveli the next minute
  7. No. You already filled up my Maang. Cannot marry again as long as you are alive.
  8. Anything else ?

Naps brilliant you brought out what we were all struggling with. We all were wondering why can't paro love rudra he is so yummy, a protector, loyal and a dream boat, but is he really and scary thought paro was seeing him as such. That is what it is wrong about this relationship is that paro was idealizing him, it is either one extreme or the other for her. He is either jallad or a god no way Paro will survive Rudra if that is her outlook of him. Paro as much as she knows Rudra doesn't know him at all. She will never truly love him until she sees his dark side and knows he can be that man that can set fire to her but instead of fearing the fire she needs to walk it with him. But she needs to accept that her Rudra is neither a Jallad or a god he is just a man, a desperate man, a flawed man who is capable of things her idealized rakshak won't do. She needs to get past this hero worship phase if she wants to be his wife in the true sense she needs to understand him for what he is and for that Rudra needs to fall in Paro's eyes. If he can be good he can be just as bad, not bad in the sense of Tejawat but bad enough for her white character to be shocked but willing to accept. For now Paro is overcompensating for her earlier bad behavior she thinks she has insulted her god and has commited a sin against her Bholenaath.

What Rudra today did was more than just grey behavior. He gave another man money selling her off as such. It wasn't just marry Sumer if it ended there fine but money exchanged hands and for an woman what can be a bigger insult. What Rudra did today neither Varun or Tejawat accomplished that is taint her honor. Varun could have dumped a box full of vermillion on Paro's head and she still would have her dignity intact no one would point fingers on her. Rudra whether he admits it or not and whether Paro understands it or not, Rudra and Paro belong with each other. To have your man barter you off in front of socieity/family for a fixed sum ouccchhh. Brilliant work writers because this is Rudra and we might hate Rudra for what he did today but we can't hate what was shown today because in keeping part with the story and characters it was amazing stuff. Whatever might have been Rudra's reasons it was not shocking he is capable of this.
Paro will love Rudra come what may but will she ever respect and hold him in the same regard as before. Draupadi never forgave Yudhishtr for what he did, as much as Dushaasan pulled on her saree it was her protector her husband who should have guraded her honor with his life put her in that position where her very existence was tarnished. Rudra might get back Paro but he has not realized he has staked her honor in this and Paro would have forgiven Rudra for anything but not this and Rudra will realize too late what he lost. Rudra will have to beg, Paro will forgive him ofcourse but I wonder if he will ever forgive himself because her soul would have been hurt and he would know it. Paro is as untarnished as he is tarnished. Even after Tejawat betrayal her faith in humanity was not broken because her bholenaath was there that is why she was able to bounce back as fast as she did. But the moment she started linking Rudra to Bholnaath and expecting that same unblemished faith she was done for because her faith will be broken Rudra will himself break it and what will Rudra do when he realizes the girl he cherishes is gone the happy go lucky the pure soul is no more. Rudra will be crushed when he realizes he subjected Paro to the same pain he warned her off, how ironic he told her don't believe the wrong people the loss in faith would be devastating to live with, it wasn't her faith in Tejawat but her faith in him that broke her.
Hahaaa I am just overanalyzing. Paro and Rudra will come out of this fit. Paro won't be too hurt she will give a cute little ear twist to Rudra and he will pout a little they will hug and kiss and on to the next battle.

Hey Loveanime. 😊 Lovely analysis and some thought-provoking points. 👏
@Rudra's more-than-grey behaviour: Yes it was unacceptable. How could any man with a tendre, a soft corner for any woman even think of it? Unless he knew she didn't care one way or the other. Or unless he hated her and calculatedly wanted to hurt her. Or unless he wanted to scare her off him. Or unless he wanted her to go back on her word and run far away from him. Or unless he cared so much for her that he wanted her to see the truth about him.
I'm sure the CVs will enlighten us about the reasons for his behaviour soon.
@Rudra's behaviour was not shocking: I don't agree, Loveanime. I was shocked. I thought he would not trust her, but not that he would go out of his way to break her trust in this way.
@ Will Paro be able to respect Rudra ever again: She shouldn't. She has no reason to forgive him either - after all Rudra wasn't under any compulsions to do this. But it will depend on what the CVs want us to feel.
@ Will Rudra forgive himself: I hope not for a long time. I hope it hurts him as much as he hurt Paro for as long as it hurts her.
@ What will happen when Rudra realises he has crushed everything he loves about Paro out of her: I hope that it won't come to that. Because if it does then Rudra will burn in a hell of his own regret; of his own creation. But I hope it won't come to that, that Paro will understand his self-destructive behaviour and will have the wisdom, compassion and love to pull him out of that downward spiral.

So she know that the man she married and rudra had shot was a no good gun runner ... He seems to have morphed from a jallad to a savior overnight ... No wonder he is suspicious ... Is she hanging on truly to be forgiven or does she imagine herself ... Maybe not in love ... But enamored ... Thanks Sabs ...for keeping me posted

Hey Poona!! 🤗 Thank you for taking the time to read and comment.
Yes, Paro's about-turn was shockingly swift and total! But it's the attempted murder of his father laid at her door that has him suspicious. I think there are mixed feelings - she definitely wants to be forgiven but she also cares for him, hero-worships him.

Hey Golpokobita, it was indeed a breath-taking twist. I think Rudra had to bribe Sumer to pull it off. He knew what Sumer wanted, i.e. to live in Jaipur. And he held that carrot out for him, by enabling that dream with money, because while Sumer had initially tried to flirt with Paro, he quickly lost interest. Indeed, after the first couple of episodes he didn't bother with Paro at all. Was very happy to give her to Tejawat for money.
But yes it was a dirty, filthy act. For whatever reason, it was still unforgiveable!

Lovely post Sabs!!! Perfect analysis!!! Love ya!! 🤗

The episode made my head spin long after it was over!! I just couldn't make any sense out of it!!! I am still reeling under its effect!

I am not a very good analyst, let me be frank! I looked at it from a slightly different angle, a very very simple superficial one, because I couldn't put things together the way most of you here have done!!! According to me this is all Rudra's plan to create some havoc over some issue, which happens to be putting Paro under undue pressure, to find a loophole that he is looking for to know exactly what transpired here at the house in his absence that has put Dilsher in this condition! I am thinking purely from Rudra's detective POV!!

One thing I have realized is that both Paro and Rudra are NO WHERE near the feeling of LOVE!!! They are unable to understand their own emotions much less accept them! Rudra is bugged enough to see Paro in his house! If he so detested her he could have easily thrown her out. But he hasn't! Why? Her repeated attempts to make him see her innocence and her denial in being involved in his father's condition has somewhere gotten to him and he is now putting his thinking cap on to know the truth. He already knows she can not harm anyone! He is allowing her to stay around to observe and see the reactions of everybody around!! If you have noticed then even Maithili said that she knows Paro couldn't have done it but Sunheri is an eye witness that nobody can ignore because she has no motive to lie. This is all pointing to Dilsher's case being solved and Paro being used in this ugly manner in the mind-game that Rudra is playing with everybody! Rudra must have anticipated certain reactions from the family members? Mohini and Sumer are the filtered-out people from the family that Rudra seems to be concentrating on! If Paro really wants to prove her innocence then she will have to give this ultimately cruel test that Rudra has set out for her!! I am sure in today's episode many of these things will be sorted out! Paro's feelings are those of hero-worship and Rudra's feelings are undergoing a big turmoil and he wants to test his own feelings for Paro to see their validity!! Notice when Paro comes to Dilsher's room to put that lep on Dilsher's feet, Rudra looked as if he has given up on her and asks her in a flat almost dejected voice why is she doing all this and why is it all important to her. He sounded as if defeated and a person who does not know any other way to solve this riddle called Paro! But some honest, innocent pleas on Paro's face surely has spurred him on to test his own feelings!!

I think that Rudra wants to see how Sumer reacts. How Mohini reacts and how Paro reacts to his proposal of marrying Paro and Sumer! One thing is for sure that he will not let Paro come to any harm!! Not even in his worst nightmare!! Paro will somehow turn things around and will manage to stay back giving enough fodder to Rudra to think over!! And she will be the one to propose to him out of blue!! But then this is what I think will happen if things are to tie up with the promo!! My bet is that Paro will remind Rudra that he has already filled her maang with the blood and announced her as his wife Parvati Rudra Pratap Ranawat and so she can't marry another man in the presence of her husband!! Let's see if my wish gets fulfilled or does Paro do harakiri in the name of obtaining forgiveness from Rudra! If Paro does the harakiri I wonder if Rudra will ever be able to live with that!!! His beliefs about beautiful women have already started undergoing massive changes and upheaval so...

Excited about tonight!!
