Os- mine
Rudra was angry. Well angry would be an understatement. It felt as if he was ready to open his third eye and destroy everything in its path.
Earlier he had asked Aman to take Paro away from his sight so aman suggested that he would take her to the army canteen. He had readily agreed thinking how he will not need to see her face for at least a few minutes. But it had been nearly two hours and still no sign of them. He was getting uneasy. So he decided to go to the canteen himself to see what was taking them so long. He told himself that he was doing this just because she was a witness and under his protection.
As he stepped into the canteen he heard her laugh which shocked him. But his shock turned to anger as soon as he took in the sight before him. There sitting right next to paro was a man holding her palm. Anger clouded his senses.
He was beside them in a second and lifted the man by collar making everyone shocked.
"how dare you touch her?" he shouted making everyone jump in fright.
All of the people present there knew Rudra as a very angry man but never had they ever witnessed him like this. he looked wild as if ready to kill the man who was now trembling in his arms.
"Sir, he didn't do anything. He was just reading her palm. He does that to everyone." Aman said as he came rushing to the scene.
"so this is what army pays you for? Huh? To read palms of women? Making them uncomfortable?"
"sir, I swear she was not uncomfortable. I was just trying to change her mood. She was looking so lost." The man said trying to loosen Rudra's death grip.
"I don't care. You have no right to touch her, understand?" he shouted.
"Rudra, he is telling the truth. He was just trying to help." Paro said trying to calm him but instead he glared at her.
He shoved the man away and took Paro's hand in his hand and walked out leaving an astonished audience behind.
"what was that?" asked another officer to Aman as soon as they left.
"Parvathy protection program by Rudra Pratap Ranawat." He replied with a huge smile.
