I am very skeptical about RR for I am quite aware of ST penchant for creating larger than life Male Characters He writes them super hot and gives them all the weapons of emotional verbal physical empathy in his arsenal so that it strikes a direct chord to the viewers who immediately sympathize and feel for the hero even if his thinking is skewered and beggars belief I experienced it first hand with his other show season 1 where it started off alright with a spunky girl but soon degenerated into the ML turning psycho and all this within 2 months I got off that band wagon fast and swore never again One push pull shove desi show was more than enough for a life time thank you very much

I found the RR promos intriguing SI reeled me in because of her last hit show I stayed because I was awestruck by the method acting of Ashish and had my own phangurling phase for a very short while I was smitten by Tarun and his natural talent and fascinated by Ananya's style and enjoyed watching SI in a role that seemed in direct contrast to her other iconic character The costumes the settings the ambience all spelt quality and luxury and I was satisfied for a while till the rosy glasses got all grimy and I removed them and now I wonder is this history repeating itself

Take a look around the forum a majority of posts are all for him feeling his pain his angst his betrayal by her ( this one takes the biscuit for they were not in a relationship in the first place) his need to win and how stupidly blind she is and how dumb can she be how she deserves everything that is coming her way all forgetting that she has seen nothing that we the viewers have been allowed to see and hammered repeatedly till kingdom come about his side of the story We have been privy to his breakdowns his childhood traumas his patriotism in short every single bit of his life except the color of his chuddis have been revealed and even that I am sure someone will have an answer for that as well

In a masterstroke they have also shown him now suddenly in love with Paro which adds to the verbal diarrhea heaped over her now He is in love and how dare she reject him Has anybody thought it out that in no way she and him are in a relationship she believes her life is over and she is widow and she just wants out Freedom is what she craves
We have only seen one dimension and that is Rudra's and based on that we want Paro to react which is really unjust and unfair to her
Logically Rudra's Rambo act is the reason why he is in trouble with the BSD and rightfully should be subject to an inquiry and he forcing Paro to sign an incriminatory piece of paper is very ludicrous as his captive knows nothing
Everyone asks why can t she believe him then I want to ask why can't he believe her? yes they showed one scene where he doubts but he still goes ahead with his master plan of railroading and intimidating a prisoner into submission and acceptance Its called coercion and a strict no admission in any court of law but here very few see that and think everything he does is right why because he looks hot and seems upright and oh yes he is a patriot so that automatically cancels any of his own silly actions Seriously he is not been shown a good strategist nor does he think his plans thoroughly anticipating every possible contingency He has put her in the line of fire by faking her death and sending her back to her village without expecting any fallout I wonder if this story would have worked with an ordinary looking fellow an Aam Aadmi sort

What have they shown about Paro? They gave her a couple of nightmares which the writers have gone amnesiac about There has not been one powerful soliloquy to reflect her own soul ache her very short lived marriage before being plunged into a state of widowhood My fear In the name of Divinity and penance Paro will be made to go through such a vicious redemption track probably till the end of RR she will be subject to a lot of nastiness allowing the ML the liberty to badly treat her walk over her feelings Many will join the chorus and say she deserves it and I wonder how pray tell its not like she cuckolded him or ran off They were not in a romantic relationship period only he romanticized about her in his head and that too for just one episode so all Dejavu and something I have zero interest in watching Fool me once shame on them fool me twice shame on me They did not need SI for this role any pretty face would have done and that is the mystery

Now having said that the fact that SI was mulling over leaving the show for fear her character sketch would be diluted or compromised (though I was rolling my eyes in surprise and wondering what character) and confirmed by ST makes me want to stick around just a bit to see why she felt so deeply enough to want to quit There must be something real unique and interesting for her to lay her professional reputation on the line and I hope SI proves herself right and me wrong for I am still unconvinced I am assuming SI knows from past experience and would never want history to repeat itself but if it is the same old same old then I will bid RR adieu I am not interested in watching another Traumatic past excuse for mistreating manhandling and mauling the female lead and all in the name of dark intense love I am not a starry eyed tween teen all giddy headed for romance no matter how abusive as long as the male is hot and the female accommodating nor am I looking for escapism from my life and this story is the perfect recipe for a romance I can live vicariously through the Female nor am I a hard core phangurl to be content happily staring at the TV when my favorite comes onscreen and story be damned
I like watching desi soaps where the leads are evenly balanced out I don't like women centric nor male dominated shows they do not make for interesting viewing The 11 pm show is the perfect example of why it is reeling in viewers so RR is skating on thin ice as far as I am concerned so will take a watch and see attitude

My days of emotionally investing in a show are thankfully long over ergo I don't make posts like I used to elsewhere but I always look out daily for posts that stand out or seem different and interesting in their view without parroting common sentiments or opinions that I can reply too so thank you for allowing me the space to rant and vent

I agree with you. But at the same time, after Rudra's warning she should be at least a bit on her guard. What I'm reproaching her is to be narrow minded and to believe what she has seen and she have been told !

She never questioned Rudra about her friend who is missing, she never questioned herself about her cousin who did n't give her news since she got married. Why ???

I am not defending Rudra, but Paro does not have a sharper mind either.

But she does not deserve to Die, I really hope someone will Save her.

i won't say paro deserves this but she definitely will know how false accusation hurt one...when you have done nothing...when the whole world is against her leaving her all alone to defend herself...

What he did was all wrong...but he can also believe that she is involved in this even if he later realized she is innocent...knowing that she wont go against thakur he tried to save her didn't he??

he had his motives but if he can manage proofs without her then why he would protect her??

look I have never said that Rudra is wrong, as far as being court marshaled he def doesn't deserve it but he has played a big role in getting there it's not Paro's fault that he is being court marshaled, he killed everybody and left no witnesses, the base is he thinks Paro is also involved and He is forcing to sign papers and Paro is refusing to sign cause she has no idea and does not believe that Thakur is involved so both are right in their own way, my post is not against Rudra it's about sympathy for a girl who is in this situation cause of her destiny, and she will learn the less some hard way and than nobody can stop her from helping Rudra

I did feel sorry for her before, but for me her not actually listening to anything Rudra said to her was illogical.

dis is not a new thing where a daily show r showing dis mils n boons type male charecter ,who can hurt verbally emotionally their female lover , disrespect dem , taunt dem on their class saw dis in gul's first mill's n boons show where hero was emotionally handicap n very insecure n became psycho to take revenge det he harassed a preggy girl ,planned revenge n put her in huge mental pressure by humiliating her on daily basis just to boost his ego ...dis type of characters r not normal de r toxic n evil from inside ...somebody said correct one push pull shove desi show was more den enough for life time

ryt now rudra did not harassed paro det much, thankfully but det does not mean he can or should do dis in future , i know very well y cvs showed det fire scene , de just wanted to give a reason to hero to humiliate girl n de gave him a reason , now for dem it is ok if he harass her in future bcs he thinks she tried to burn his father , disgusting n horrible trick from makers

Let's look at this situation, when has Rudra laid out the evidences he/BSD has against the wedding party frm across the border and tried to reason with her that way? For all she knows, she has seen him shoot her husband and has witnessed nothing that makes her go against Tejawat. As I see it, it's more of Rudra's failure that he has failed to convince her that they were doing anything remotely wrong im the guise of that wedding. So naturally, Paro wants to break free and believes what she knows to be the ultimate truth. The fact that it isn't is something you can expect her to know just by witnessing Rudra's emotional breakdown or just cause she has spent time living with his dysfunctional family.

Yes it's unfortunate for Rudra to be where he is...but it was an error on his part that has brought him here, why did he kill the old man? And not save a witness. It's not really Paros fault that she knows nothing and therefore can't help him fight this court marshal.

But as far as the wedding goes, they are both in on it equally.

sigh does it bring back toxic memories of another time another place when the Male lead could do no wrong and the female lead no right? It did to me some things will never change come hell or high water I guess
