Raise Your Weapon: Rangrasiya Wars (IP- HELP OUT!)

Hi Everyone!

I think we realize know that RR is a WARZONE. There are historical wars, there are contemporary wars, and there are so many issues that are waiting to irrupt into a war, should the right catalyst come along. It's in that spirit that I've decided to break down the plots into the basic points of conflict, with some commentary, analysis and of course- Images. I've tried to do this as best as I could in chronological order.

Historical: Old Battles yet to be Settled.

These are distinct to the historical context, although the history of these battles will affect the contemporary wars, and any future conflict- these character's histories are sparse and leave room for interpretation and can end up with various story lines.

Mohini vs. Mala

This is perhaps the one battle which offers the fuel for so many other's in the future. The history between the sisters Is unclear, but what is obvious is that Mohini has let her wounds fester into such hatred that it acts as a catalyst to start other petty wars.

Casualties: The Potential Bond between sisters and everything it entails.

Mohini vs. Dilsher

Similiarly like the perivious one, there isn't much in terms of context but Mohini gives off the vibe of a woman scorned who is out for revenge so long as she can get it- as if she lost a battle and is looking for a rematch anyway she can- in any context.

Casualties: M&M's relationship potentially unsalvageable; Mohini poisoning offspring (at least Sumar) to dislike Dilsher.

Tejawat vs. The Nation

Tejawat did not actively pursue this war with India, but his greed, selfishness and vanity has created as such an atmosphere where the state and it's protectors must person to rid Tejawat and scum like him- however this historical battle, is only being fought and won by Tejawat. The Country does not even know his like is doing this. As of yet.

Tejawat vs. The BSD

The BSD, like the Nation are unaware of what Tejawat is doing (or they don't have proof of it) and at the same time, Tejawat has been cunning enough to make the BSD seem like the war lords, preying on the innocent, making the battle all the more complex.

Dilsher vs. Mala

THIS IS ONE I REALLY WANT TO UNDERSTAND! Dilsher obviously hate's Mala for leaving him and Rudra, but there HAS to be more to this, there HAS to be context. There MUST be a Story!

Casualty: Rudra and his Childhood. That doesn't even need an explanation.

"Rippin' my heart was so easy, so easy,
Launch your assault now, take it easy.

Raise your weapon, raise your weapon, one word and it's over.

Rippin' through like a missile,
Rippin' through my heart,
Rob me of this love.

Raise your weapon, raise your weapon... and it's over...
Love your ego, you won't feel a thing,
Always number one, the pen with a bent wrist crooked king,
Sign away our peace for your war,
One word and it's over.

Contemporary Wars: The Conflict We See

These are the wars we've seen and are seeing. They stem from the historical wars which unresolved have created new battles. Inner Battles. Clash of Wills. & A War of Emotions.

Rudra vs. Self

Internally his battle is obvious, yet unclear. His battle comes from his Parents: abandonment issues, women hatting issues. Missing Love.

Casualty: Meaningful relationships and bonds. He has none. And Patriotism does not count.

Rudra vs. Tejawat & Like

The Only positive Rudra has from his inner conflict is that his energy is put to use to take out the bad guys. He's using the negative experiences to make a positive impact by going up against desh drohies, and bringing them to justice- Ranawat Style.

Rudra vs. Laila

THIS IS REALL INTERESTING. I know most PaRud fans are Anti- Laila, but I think she's an amazing character who is VERY STRONG. This is a battle based on emotion and desire. Rudra didn't realized he'd engaged her in war, especially since his verbal treaty was very clear- we're nothing more than friends with benefits. I'm not cut out for marriage. BUT He left out one thing- when he said he's not cut out for marriage, he implied to her that it was a universal component. As soon as that fell through, so did any possibility of Peace. Laila is up in arms, and this petty war is going to leave so big wounds.

Rudra vs. Mohini et al

I use "et al" because Mohini and Sumar, as well as any potential characters that will be Mohini's allies (including Tejawat). This war is obviously a result of Mohini hating her sister, and her hunger for power. It's odd that Mohini would engage a child in combat (because it seems like she's always festered a resentment for Rudra- which we are now just getting to see play out).

Casualties: Masi- Panja relationship. There is none.

Mithali vs. Mohini

This could even be termed as Sumrat & Mithali vs. Society. The stigma of a childless couple that society gives and ESPECIALLY towards a woman is amazing (even though it's been hinted that it is Sumrat who can't have children) Furthermore, the Saas- Bahu dynamic is also a classic social issue that many face. Coupled in with the fact that this is a power structure. Mithali doesn't want to fight. She's a lover not a fighter. And she DOES NOT ENGAGE IN BATTLE, but Mohini is always throwing bombs at her. Hopefully this small battle will not just end with Mohini getting in the last word, but Mithali standing up for herself.

Rudra vs. Paro

WELLL HELLOOO THERE! This one is obvious, yet no less intriguing. Passion. Power. Wills. Determination. These two are fighting for the same side: RIGHTIOUSNESS. HOWEVER, the perception of right is different. It's interesting to see who will be on top, but even when the main war is over, these two will always have personal battles to overcome with each other.

+
[Love and Hate. Paro fighting her developing LOVE for Rudra and Rudra waging war with his diminishing HATE for Paro. It does not end here, there's also the clash of ego and care, both at the same moment. As rightly symbolised in the RR title background score, that they are incomplete without one another, The way they fit in each others lives, is what makes them go all nasty inside charging with naked hands, ready to rip one another. Ready to bare their soul to the other. What they have completely overlooked, though, is this battle has no end- for it is that ever illuminated fire that cease to extinguish and only adds on to riling more love and passion. fire_whiskey | Radhika ]

Dropping your bombs now
On all we've built,
How does it feel now
To watch it burn, burn, burn?

Raise your weapon, raise your weapon... and it's over.

Rippin' through like a missile,
Rippin' through my heart,
Rob me of this love.

Raise your weapon, raise your weapon... and it's over.
How does it feel now to watch it burn, burn, burn?

Rippin' my heart was so easy, so easy,
Launch your assault now, take it easy.

Raise your weapon, raise your weapon, one word and it's over.

Future Battles: The Wars to Come

Rudra vs. Tejawat & Like

This will obviously be a continual storyline and Tejawat won't be the only one who Rudra faces to protect his country, but it will have many battles and this is a War that Rudra won't face alone.

Casualties: Innocent Men and Women; Protectors of the State (BSD officers)

Paro vs. Self

Upon the revaliation of Tejawat, and his history, and Rudra's truth- not to mention Mala being Rudra's mother- Paro is going to go through self-doubt and inner turmoil- she's going to question herself, her judgement, and possibly her faith in life. It's going to be an interesting development in her character and essential to her evolution.

Rudra vs. Mala

I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS. SIMPLY CANNOT. Rudra has loved and missed his mother, but there are certain things a son cannot forgive and forget. He will blame his mother for not coming sooner, for not trying harder, for leaving in the first place, and most of all: For being with Tejawat. He will confuse his anger and hatred for Tejawat and link it to his mother who he had pristine thoughts and opinions about but will be tainted when he finds out she's married to a desh drohi.

Dilsher vs. Mala

Similarly like above, this is going to be one hell of an interesting story line.

Mohini vs. Mala

This will be where the history between these two comes out, and it will be a battle of wills. Can't wait!

Mala vs. Society

Whatever her reasons for leaving, Mala will have to deal with the Societal view of her as a mother, wife and woman for leaving her family.

Rippin' through like a missile,
Rippin' through my heart,
Rob me of this love.

Raise your weapon, raise your weapon... and it's over.

Love your ego, you won't feel a thing,
Always number one, the pen with a bent wrist crooked king,
Sign away our peace for your war,
One word and it's over.

Dropping your bombs now
On all we've built,
How does it feel now
To watch it burn, burn, burn?

Raise your weapon, raise your weapon... and it's over."

Well, I chose the two, I think would battle their own war of wills and determinations!
It's an interesting and gluing post! Nicely portrayed and well use of words!
Beautifully written, and thought of! 👏

About Rudra and Parvati, I'd like to add it's just not war of wills and passion but also of Love and Hate.
As rightly said, 'There's a thin line between hate and love'. And I agree hate is too strong a word, and hate only exists for a person who means life to you.
What Rudra has for Tejawat is not hate but disgust and loath. There's a difference.
This war of hearts is not as simple a matter of win and lose, it goes beyond the parameters of waging war of hearts. There is no if and no but when the pure passion and want would collide between the two most scarred souls, sorting refuge in arms of one another.

Coming down to Rudra and Mala- No matter how much hate he has nurtured in his heart for 8 years, a mother is but a mother, and always will be so. Yes, its fire, its hate, its emptiness, its longing, its unforgivable, but again not something to be close shut to die and cease.
This battle between mother and her son would not just be interesting but gut wrenching.
Her constant vigilance to make him come back to her at any cost, and his wild determination to stay put and unmoved would butcher our hearts into pieces!
Not only a mother who left him to wander like a lost kid on the road, but also she chose to seek solace in arms of his only mortal enemy or so he believes, would make him go not just mad but an asocial being, if at all they exist!
This battle would be battle of hearts not understanding the rules of a fair war or the normal treatise of a human relationship!
