Nice take as like always. Thanks Diya.
Nice episode with all of them gearing up for Mahashivrathri with their own agendas. To be honest i liked the Wednesday's episode contrary to everyone here on the forum, i could see the story and PaRud coming back on track, actually i was expecting that kind of behaviour from Rudra as time was running out for him to save his job and his dead men's honour.
Coming to yesterday's episode, i loved the PaRud scene and the way he tries to reason with her about her being on the wrong side was well done. What i liked most was how comfortably he lets his guards down in front of her as though they belong with each other.
Coming to the rest of the episode everyone is gearing up with their own plans for the showdown on Mahashivrathri mela day.
At this point i don't want Paro to lose, i don't want Rudra to lose his job and the most i don't want is PaRud marriage now. I'm hoping Thakurain's revelation to Rudra will be the next track and that can keep PaRud together even without the marriage.
I think Wednesday's episode packed a solid punch ... the way it polarised the forum 😆 I felt Rudra and Paro were very much in character ... but Rudra was in his original character of jallad, whereas he has come a long way since then. But the sight of the officers in his house brought it home to him, that time was running out ... his intimidation of Paro was a last ditch attempt to get her to sign ... and it backfired spectacularly on him. He saw the lengths she could go to, to protect her loved ones ... while he would stoop to hurting an innocent girl to save his soldiers, she would stoop to hurting herself to save her loved ones ... and would probably go the whole way and even kill herself if he persisted. Hence he had to backtrack on that. And honestly, I'm glad he did ... he is Rudra, the protector ... he cannot see Paro hurt. I didn't like the dark sexual intimidation ... it was too uncomfortable.
Yesterday's episode ... I said this above too ... contrary to what they claim, they both have started understanding each other rather well ... and I love the way they communicate. Both let down their guard with each other ... Rudra acknowledges her strength and her loyalty to her loved ones, misplaced though it is. He has no problem showing her his vulnerability, if it is needed to convince her how wrong she is ...
And Paro has seen through his tough facade to the abandoned, sad child beneath ... so she cannot see him as Jallad any more. Her anger with him over the mehndi forgotten, her trust in him restored, as she sees that he cannot see her hurt. The mehndi in front of the crowd was to rub in his victory over her challenge ... but his victory was tempered by his defeat ... as she told him she would hurt herself again ... and again ... she was bowed and helpless, but not defeated. His rubbing the balm in was not to prove a point to her, like the mehndi was ... it was out of genuine concern ... hence she let him.
Both are strong willed, but standing on opposite sides ... but both have started seeing the good in each other.
I'm completely with you on the last bit ... I don't want Paro to lose ... I don't want her to sign unless she sees the truth about the thakur ...
I don't want Rudra to lose his job
And I definitely don't want PaRud marriage yet. But I think marriage will happen ... and then separation.
