As beautiful as always... good to see your post after a while.
I missed this Rudra, yesterday. I knew he will seek her out to check her burns and tend to them like he would wipe them away. He didnt disappoint me, more importantly he didn't disappoint Paro. I felt there was a tinge of disappointment in Paro's anguish yesterday. Disappointed that he could mock her pain... esp when he has taken the pain meant for her on earlier occasions. Rudra's voice was laced with heavy emotions when he checked her hand and said they are lucky, the burns are not worse. It felt like he allowed himself to feel the horror of the moment when she burned her hand only now. I loved the bachpan wala talk... loved it even more because they seamlessly slipped into that topic. A guy who is so sensitive about the mention of his mom would never speak to another person about it. Yet the same guy spoke without hesitation, spoke without planning on the words, it just went with the flow. As an outsider to the conversation, I felt how mammoth a step it was for Rudra, but Rudra didn't feel so...It was as eloquent as the pain he has felt... there was no regret he shared his pain with her. It just felt right.
The way he clasped her hand and told her not to go down the wrong path and she cant handle the regret was heart wrenching. That bit showed how much he cares for her... not just her safety, but also for her soul. She is going to be so damaged when she finds the truth a bit too late... May be even Rudra might not be able to pull her out of the guilt. So I am hoping bheema does something wrong and BSD gets their clue they want at the Mela.
One thing I am dreading is the Maha Shivaratri ka mela!!! It is going to be so eventful, that if the makers want, they can wind up the show that day. Each character in the show has a separate scheme for themselves. As if there wasn't enough confusion, KCM is planning to burn down a room, a duplicate shadi ka jooda is floating around and then Thakur has to tag along Thakurain to the mela. Then there is the Rudra-Paro wedding... I think the wedding will happen because of the auspiciousness of the day... if not legally binding, something will happen to signify holy matrimony between Rudra-Paro.
This will be one Maha Shivratri ka Mela at Birpur/Chandangarh that even Lord Shiva will like to miss this year.
