I couldn't find him....

I looked high and low, in and out. Looked at every pixel of the screen, every part of the frame, but still couldn't find him. You know the man, we have been blaming and cursing and hating...the abuser!!
The heartless, cruel, ruthless, sexually abusing man...was not to be found anywhere today. The man responsible for Paro's pain and agony was just non existent.
All I could find was a man, who was trying to make sense out of life, trying to make his enemy understand that she was standing on the wrong side. A man who clearly stated that he admired all her qualities and what she stood for, but not whom she stood for. A man who warned her about the pain that envelopes, the regret that eats up the soul when u end up trusting the wrong person. The man who tries to explain the innocence of children and their illusions and wrong notions and how lives are ruined on misplaced faith. The man who tries to save her from a regret that will destroy her conscience. I saw two lost souls reaching out through an abyss, through a maze and haze of misconceptions and misunderstandings, knowing the other still deserves a chance. Two individuals not giving up on the hope that they could still salvage what was left in the ruins of life. All I saw was a child, still waiting for his mother...and that is precisely what Paro saw too.
Yes, I know he applied the ointment cause she is his sole witness, or may be to play mind games, or may be cause she is his responsibility, or cause his guilt was killing him, or most probably to mark his territory and prove his dominance. The problem here is that I am so enamored of his hot looks...and so busy drooling...that I mistakenly saw two souls trying to connect. I foolishly saw two humans, placed by fate on opposite sides of a wall, trying to make each other understand their povs and what they stood for. I perceived two enemies trying to make sense of their entangled destinies, trying to make a last effort to salvage what was left of their lives. In short I was just watching a love story.
And the back of my mind are tons of people who have lost their lives, be it the 17 innocent girls who were forced into prostitution, or the brave soldiers who for many years have laid down their lives in order to protect people like us, or hundreds of innocents all over the world who lose their lives to arms, and bombs and terrorism. And how men like ThakurSa literally get away with mass murders on their hands due to gullibility of people in the name of loyalties, or money, or caste or religion.
Once again, it all depends on one's perspective I guess, some choose to look at the half empty glass while the hopeless romantic and optimist in me chooses to look at the half filled one. Some can identify with her pain, I can empathize with two individuals who both have lost a lot at the hands of life and circumstances. Again its just a different outlook, while for some this is all about intolerable injustices meted out...for some it is all about life finally doing justice to two wronged lives. Again some can see her present pain, while the fool me perceives her past, present and future happiness lies with a man who wont hesitate to lay down his life for her. While some prefer to see the pain he unintentionally caused to her hands, some choose to see the life of hell he saved her from. He for some is a sexual abuser, for me, I am just glad that in spite of all the powers the man had to ruin her life, he does not touch her at inappropriate places, or sexually molest or rape her and never will. While some concentrate on Paro's helplessness, some end up counting the multiple ways the man has helped and cared for his enemy, from stabs, to slaps, from hot packs, to ointments. Some remember that Paro has said she trusts the man, while for some his recent mind games break all trust. Some think Paro is in a corner thanks to Rudra while some also realize that Rudra too is in a corner, on the brink of losing it all. Some members focus on his pseudo romantic side of late while certain members remember that before this break Paro campaign, he never laid a finger on her. Some in this forum take pride in the fact that they are women while for some being a human takes top priority.
I respect the difference in viewpoints, the various outlooks that make this place, this show, this life interesting. They all make us think, reconsider our views, analyze our stands, and rethink our perspectives, if we dont have open minds and hearts, its our loss. For some this is a love story of two individuals who are forced by destiny to hate and gradually love...and for some ...well they might end up taking sides. But I hope we all remember that love, never comes without pain. Be it reel or real, it comes with tears and heart break, with pain and sorrow. Love stories in real life are no less devastating.
Just wanted to say what I have wanted to say for a long time...and I have lot of faith in this forum and its members that they will show the respect and love they always have towards people who are hell bent on using their freedom of expression although they all have different mindsets.

Eve nice post. Again I would'nt comment on other's POV because they have their own way of looking at the picture.
But the way I saw it till now, he is the man who will always protect and stand up for Paro . She is the one who would always end up in decreasing his pain by sharing it. She would be the who would find her own strength with him.no matter how many times she call him Jallad. They are ONE unit .. Two bodies and one soul with their pains and desires connecting them..

I agree and I find this journey of these two souls so beautiful. There is so much of pain and suffering in their lives, its high time they finally find each other.

"...Two enemies trying to make sense of their entangled destinies, trying to make a last effort to salvage what was left of their lives."
This effortlessly describes the whole scene, nice words! While i did not like the yesterdays's mehndi scene, this scene surely surpasses what i expected. Well done by the CVs.
