The TRPs are out , makes me want to revisit this topic

I like the episode in isolation , the scenes were good , but i feel a gap in execution , a confusion regarding the characters , too many things at the same time with not much concentration on the emotional content

the story has been progressing , but i see a lack in the character's thought process

there is hardly any

the marriage is happening , paro seems unaffected and suddenly there have a emotional scene with paro reading rudra's letter , they left the scene and paro thoughts in less than a minute

i fail to understand the connect and relevance

lets revisit each character

Paro : what is her stand , one minute she calls rudra jalat , next minute she cries over his grief (isolated scene was very good , emoted well but what is the relevancebeautiful scene wasted)

rudra :how is he not doing anything , and what does he believe about paro , why isnt he checking his trump-card 3 days left

dilsher , danveer : they feel bad for both rudra and paro but are silent

mohini : i get the jealous track good one , but she wants rudra killed really ???????????? how will that help

mala:she came to the wedding and left , why ????? why on earth did they have that scene

takur : okay yeah he is negative

on the whole too many scenes which should carry meaning put up randomly without much connect

the scenes are good in isolation but fails to make a story

lets us see the tracks that are currently running...

track 1 paro realization -

1.should know about takur's evil plans

2.should know her husband tried to kill her

3. should know BSD is not all that bad

4.should understand rudra

track 2:

mohini rudra track

1.mohini wants rudra dead

2. want the haveli to herself

3.rudra should escape this

track 3:

rudra BSD court Martial track

1.produce the evidence in 4 days

2.make paro confess

3.stop arms deal

track 4

forced wedding track

1.nobody wants to get married

2.paro and rudra are getting married

3.wedding celebrations

track5:

mala dilsher takur

mala wants to visit her son ,

clarify with him what happened

takur i dont know what he wants

track 6

sumer house track

track 7

takur in between of all this

mala's son track

bsd track

paro track

track 8

laila track

she is hurt track

she wants to win rudra back track

she may hurt paro track

the issue i feel is too much to handle , they are not able to concentrate on any thing well , and each of these can be made into a engaging story , but one by one or 2 at a time or 3 but 8?????

all at ones leaves me confused

so again my kostin is are what is the hurry... or can they afford this type of story telling for long

I very frankly am getting a little tired of the various TRP musing posts 😆 .

This week all the shows had huge trp drops in primetime , primarily because of asia cup ...RR had the least drop ie 1000 tvt pts... So it wasn't that bad .

I feel the makers , Ph and the channel are the experts in knowing what is working for them and what is not ...and what course correction is required . I will leave it at that ...

even if we leave the trp aside , i think there is a bit of confusion in the narration

i feel each of these episodes are good in isolation , but i fail to see the connect

and i think this is very critical for a daily soap

that was the intention of this post

Maybe my expectations are based on what comes on indian telly right now in the daily soaps and I can tell you that in terms of execution , story telling , actors and overall feel ...this show is good and truely not " run of the mill" .

I am enjoying the show and I don't wish to nitpick ...I do wish some aspects of the show to improve and their are some wonderful suggestions in the forum but this is the CV's job ...not mine.

Ppl who constantly criticise RR ( and here I don't mean you ) and praise some other shows to the sky ...I just saw in another trp post a comment abt the FL of another show ...I personally cannot stand that show for a minute as for me its a typical saas bahu show.

I am sorry if I am coming across a bit harsh ...I am getting a bit tired of these posts on the first page of the forum 😊

possible the topic trp musing created the confusion

the intention was not to compare against any other show as i said i have been following this show from episode 1 and i found it quite unique

but right now i think they are modifying the story line

like the mohini track , how will it help her if she gets rudra killed , they can have a dramatic scene around it

or why did mala come to the wedding ?

but that is not what i sighed for

i feel the story and the premise is very promising and i dont understand why are they deviating from it

Mohini would want rudra dead as he is the rightful owner of the haveli which is her life . If their is no rudra , then her kids get it all . Dilsher will anyway be a broken man without his son ...

Mala came into the wedding because I think her track will open soon , once ashish is back in business . Was this meant to happen now or later ...I wouldn't know ...

To me the deviations in this show are pretty much the same as any other daily show ..the purpose is to get trp's . If a track works , their is no deviation ...if it doesn't than their is ...maybe you sense a huge deviation and I don't 😊

I again reiterate ...my expectations from the show is at par with a daily soap and It is keeping me hooked so far ..I am enjoying the show , while I do catch an episode here and there of some other shows ...this is the only show that I watch daily .😊

lol I was gonna come and say again Hi Bro but TRp's and me we have nothing in common I dont know how to explain them or even explain them away...

so i think Mala coming and not really meeting anyone was done well...

cos she cant keep away now that she knows ...

it gave her an openeing to confide in Thakur and for Thakur to know who her son is ...also an interlude for us to fill in some of the gaps ...

but had she met Rudra it would have propelled the story forward way too much ...

I have not been too convinced by the portrayal of Paro ...there are too many gaps in the story telling ...

but now cos of th googly served them I shal wait and watch and give them a long leave way to see how they take it ..

they have a very interesting story at hand they came up with it hope they can sustain it ...

Also dailyies and thier budgets and numerous restraints have serious hindrance when it comes to perfecting ...

i know the tracks and scenes are very good in isolation

but the issue is they switch

one day i feel for laila many others might hate , the very next episode there is mala track

then i try to understand what did she leave

then next day takur comes up with his evil plans and arms deal

so basically my point is too many things at the same time each one with can be a engaging one emotionally

why not concentrate on one or a few tracks

i want to see what mala feels what happened why did she leave , what paro feels what laila feels and not in fast forward mode
