MKM, one question, what is the need, in your opinion, script wise, to keep hammering in Rudra's predicaments, vis-a-vis his job and abandonment. The dilsher-danveer convo, Paro's letter reading (though I can see it as a way of her understanding Rudra) and it was a beautiful scene as a stand alone. Is it as a filler or to continue to make audience feel for him in his absence?

Rudra's predicaments are kept in limelight so that his grey character can be shown to have its reasons, if not justification. Since your heroine is completely white, his flaws stand even more glaring . So, you are being prepared for his pain-and-balm relationship with Paro which will have a lot do with his own shortcomings, which in turn have come from his faulty upbringing and abandonment. You are being shown Rudra from Paro's POV and that is how he will always be shown. You may have your own POV on him as a viewer, but we are seeing him from Paro's POV in the story.Paro's letter reading was to emotionally link her to Rudra and re-ignite her hope that there is a good man inside him.Dilsher-Danveer convo was a filler.
