Hi everyone! I would just like to say that I'm a rather late fan to this show and have been briefly browsing through the forum ever since today's shocking reveal!! So many of you write such compelling and thoughtful posts, I hope to be a part of it sometime😊
I think of the posts that struck me today was one discussing the depth of Rudra's tragedy in this show. Before going any further, I'd really like to congratulate the actors. I honestly believe the actors performing in this show are wildly talented - and I have been watching hindi shows for about 10 years now!😆 Of course, unlike many saas bahu serials this show actually spends time in a 'real-time' fashion with characters behaving naturally, as opposed to taking 20min to walk from room to room with 5 different filter effects on their faces👍🏼 But I digress. I really love the performances by every cast member, of course no doubt by the two main leads. Sananya's conflicted character is very intriguing to watch; on the one hand she clearly portrays her very fear of Rudra through her body language and "her eyes" (as mausam kaki put it) whereas behind closed doors her hatred of him fuels her to disobey, talk back and even grab him by collars (lets see more of that eh?😉). And of course Ashish! He has singularly put in more emotion and depth of character into his stoic primary expression - albeit with specks of fear and that one time with tears at the BSD HQ😭 In no way, can I forget the kakimausisa - I genuinely applaud her writers for giving her undoubtedly some of the wittiest lines I have ever ever heard👏 And kudos to her for pulling it off with perfection - the smirk and taunt in every single word, regardless of however angry she gets (minus the one time she went to slap Paro but still, self-control). I honestly ROFL every single episode despite the situation, her taana maarna puts a lot of villainesses to shame!
Wow I honestly managed to ramble off and off in this one short post!☺️ But just to comment on the point I actually wanted to make - Rudra's tragedy! Seriously??!? It's almost as though CVs weren't happy enough to turn a human into an unfeeling piece or rock (hunky rock I may add), now let's break that rock into tiny pieces too. AHHH:((
So sad to watch what may come subsequently now😭
