Agreed, you can only watch two people romance for so long. The story needs to be fleshed out and that's what the other characters do. They all are important, each and every one of them, in their own unique way. But the balance is crucial here, the family angle should not overflow. I can only tolerate this much 😃

yup...it is like an enforced courtship period..where they both meet their individual families and get familiar with the backgrounds, getting to know each other. Bus ab ho gaya, now can we move on😉!! God...don't mention those demons...I seriously need a dose of good old romance before we move on to demons...health tonic you see 😃!!

This is not a 3 hours movie..boy meets girl the girl meets family fall in love fight sing songs..

A soap has to have other characters also..in the soap not to be named only the leads had a story.. Others had no story.. Resultant the male lead got tired and exhausted and quit the show and the makers had no balls left to continue ..

Do we want to see the same story again.. Where one of the lead is stretched. Beyond limit and he or she quits..this time it may be the female.. Isn't it better to have well rounded soap which has other characters .. I enjoyed watching KCM...and Sumer and also liked Maithili paro and sunehri interactions..

A lot has to be said about the characters in RR, they are all wonderful actors, and have meted out quite amazing performances. Not a single actor has been disappointing so far, which is a casting coup in its own right. And yes, as you point out, a daily soap has to last, hence the need for parallel tracks (and even otherwise, all flavors make a perfect dish!).

Lovely post Eve!! Absolutely agree with you!! By the way, I never thought it to be saas-bahu saga!! The family fit in the weave too well and succeeded in bringing both together!!

There was not much scope for further development if Paro would have been contained in the cell. Rudra would have only seen her as a suspect terrorist and Paro would have always thought the worst of Rudra. And then again the story would have been so one dimensional. The change brought along different shades.

I enjoyed watching them too and the two Ranawat brothers bonding.
