She has been observing all her petty behaviour and false sympathy and cruel barbs I think she felt that the person who mocked her parents death and now her aunt was not deserving of any courteous behaviour
and agree hundred percent on the last sentence for how else will the story proceed
now wondering if as per rumors the marriage takes place what will her equation be with Mohini then and more important Laila 😆

@ Bold and underlined- I think my neurons had gone for a vacation, how did I not think of this? I still remember when she said Aansoo aagaye and Paro looks disbelievingly at her , and she says raaste main hain, aa rahe hai.And she does see the way Kaki deliberately pokes at everyone's wounds. And respect is commanded , not demanded by age/status of relationship. Sadly in our culture, pointing out someone's mistakes is seen as disrespect, especially if they're older to you.

Aap itna achha kaise likh leti hai, madam ji? I am in awe.

But honestly people find it difficult to get involved in issues that don't really "concern" them personally. I applaud you for taking a stand, Swathi but domestic violence or no domestic violence people just don't want to get involved. People don't want to get involved in any incident involving the law enforcement because they fear being embroiled in it too intricately. And often it leaves a bad taste in the mouth for it becomes a bitter experience. You might have started with altrusitic notions but circumstances force you to step down and take a back seat all because of the way things are often twisted.

Won't we all love an uncomplicated life? "bekaar ke jhamelon me kaun padhna chahta hai?" That's what most people believe in. And even though it is a sad state of affairs you can't really blame them from trying to keep distance. And that is what brings us to great and not so great men. Men who are not scared to take a stand no matter what and men who would rather opt for the easy way out. That's why I guess we seldom come across "the Messiah" in our day to day, mundane, ordinary life. .

👏 loved it...i agree...none of your business doesn't apply here...if i were to some injustice happening...i would have spoken up too...like you said for paro...this issue wasn't just about right or wrong...it was an issue close to her heart...her life story...her identity. I am glad she stood up for it...rudra is jaded...but even he could see that what she was right...he didn't admonish her for being wrong...just that she butted in...i Think he was angry coz now he knows she has given reason for kakisa to get vindictive on her...

I see you have a bit of your own fandom here, regardless of your Kostin posts, this is a very thought provoking, yet debatable post.
I will definitely be back to elongate, simplify my answer.
Till then keep coming up with such posts.

Bravo 👏 Well said S 🤗

As they say injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.. I like the fact that Paro is standing up for the rights of others even if they are mere acquaintances to her.. they may not be her family but she believes in doing what is right ... that is the beauty of her character..

Like some of us here, I too was following the serial with trepidation hoping that they would not turn Paro into cry baby or a joan of arc.. I just did not want her character to become another caricature... we have seen that happen in the past where she was made to cow due to umpteen reasons which I dont want to delve into at this point..

Here, I like her silent resolute, her dignified stance on doing what is right while all the members in the family were turned into mere spectators ...

Good to see you back on the forum. 😊

Ciao

@The Mogambo

First up Love Love your DP Miss Miss the sexy Thakur God the things he could do with his face especially that single eyebrow lift and that magnificent sneer For the first time I rooted for the villain He is so drool worthy

Oh I agree she never lost eye contact with Kaki sa who though did turn her face away in anger and why should it be termed gyaan unless you mean it positive I get mixed up with terms here She is sharing her own experience strength and hope from firsthand Every time she shares some nugget of home spun wisdom with another she always qualifies it with her own personal knowledge of it as learnt from her aunt/mother figure That makes her different

You don't need to shout screech or yell at the top of your voice to make your point clear Hers was the softest voice (I did not know SI possessed such a voice modulation) yet ironically the loudest for every point she made only gave them all some food for thought I am so loving the one liners Paro is churning out
Thank you so much for replying

P.S. Do check out the gleam as someone remarked he too likes them feisty

😲 EDIT when did you change your DP
now my ode to Thakur is pointless 😭

@SS88
Ah the thing is that is what soaps are all about Of course there has to be an action for a reaction for the story to move If Paro were to be docile and Rudra indifferent then we are at the point of stagnation with no direction forward This action of hers will be the catalyst for the relationship dynamics to change between them as a couple and the members of the Haveli As long as Paro was meek we had no movement of story till she decided to gather courage which changed the direction of the soap again
Soaps never imitate life
Thank you for replying and
I see your second reply as well
Precisely written respect is commanded not demanded and most certainly earned and Kakisa does not have the respect of any of her family members nor the workers They obey out of fear and if one day just like Paro they lose that fear then Mohinis life will become that bit more terrifying for then she has nothing to stop them from following their dreams

Well said, you made some important points.

1. This is a journey of BOTH Rudra and Paro towards truth, forgiveness, healing and love.

2. Paro's compassionate nature was established in the very first episode when she gave her doll away to an unknown crying boy.

3. Maithali reached out to Paro and opened her wounds to her. Paro being an orphan who found a loving foster mother in mamisa connected to Maithali's pain right away.

4. Paro did not broach the topic on her own, nor was she oblivious to Maithali's agony due to their previous conversation and she jumped in only after Mohini belittled adoption and orphans and seeing Maithali being utterly humiliated with no support from anyone whatsoever.

5. Yes, Paro saying she is not finished did come as a surprise but she was already deeply involved in her defense of Maithali on a topic she is passionate about due her own life experiences, and maybe a bit carried away. It was also the trigger for the slap, as soon as Paro said it the camera panned to all character's changed expressions and Rudra getting alerted.

Finally, when are the characters meant to do everything we think is right, just as Rudra's flawed plan gave a clue to Thakur about Paro being alive after the elaborate jeep blast, similarly Paro's slip up will lead to future scenes (read precap) and drama in haveli.

She was caught in the moment and had to finish saying what was in heart and as you had correctly pointed she has always been that sort of person Only difference her sheltered life meant she did not find the courage but now she had oodles of it and when you have courage strength and self belief is not far behind
This is the story of 2 along with the people whose lives they touch I remember another soap that started of 2 then decided it is all about one end result Hello Hi Bye Bye forever with none of the central plots ever addressed and history happening not a nice one at that
I am really glad the way Paros character has shaped so well and her courteous rejoinders which leave him speechless or is that the problem for some
